Heaven or Hell: Loving My Twisted Billionaire
Chapter 108
Finn’s POV
150
I woke slowly, my mind foggy and disoriented as I blinked at the soft glow of sunset filtering. through the villa’s windows. For a moment, I couldn’t quite place where I was or what time it might be. My neck was stiff from the awkward angle I’d fallen asleep in on the living room sofa. I’d only intended to close my eyes for a moment after lunch-a quick power nap.
Glancing at my watch, I felt a jolt of surprise. Eight o’clock? I’d slept for nearly six hours.
Sleep had become strangely easy lately. After years of battling insomnia, of nights spent
pacing and drinking until exhaustion finally claimed me, I now found myself drifting off
without struggle. It was as if my body was trying to reclaim all the sleep I’d missed during the
past twenty years.
The villa was quiet. Too quiet.
I checked my phone-no new messages or missed calls. Normally, this wouldn’t register as unusual. Most people didn’t have my number, and those who did typically thought twice before using it. I’d spent years cultivating that distance, that isolation.
So why did the empty notification screen leave me with this strange hollowness in my chest today? Was I actually expecting someone to notice my silence? To wonder why I hadn’t responded for hours? To ask if I’d haven dinner?
I pushed the thought away, uncomfortable with what it might mean. Since when did I start expecting someone to care about these things?
“Hannah?” I called out, my voice rough with sleep. No answer.
I pushed myself up from the sofa, noticing the dining room light was off. Moving to the
kitchen, I spotted a note on the marble countertop, next to a covered dish.

Calling again would make me look desperate, like i couldn’t handle being ignored for ten minutes. What if she was just busy networking? Or had silenced her phone during a Conversation with Eliza? The thought of her deliberately ignoring my call made my jaw clench But what if something was wrong? What if she needed help?

The drive to the Hawkins Estate was a blur of streetlights and cursing at slower drivers. When I arrived, the grounds were lit up like a festival, with party guests milling around the gardens, drinks in hand, utterly oblivious to anything beyond their champagne bubbles.
Brian met me at the entrance, his face pale.
“We’ve checked everywhere. No sign of her or Alex. But security footage shows them heading to the west wing about an hour ago. Then nothing.”
“I want every inch of those woods searched,” I commanded. “Every cabin, every clearing, every

As the team mobilized, Brian approached hesitantly. “Sterling, there’s something else. The footage shows Olivia Grant leading Eliza Morgan away from the main party earlier.”
