‘I bet Nina just wants to give Vivian a scare,’ Laura thought. ‘She probably won’t really throw her out of the Swanson residence.’

Besides, if they actually tossed Vivian, Linda, and Judy out of the house, the Swanson family would be asking for trouble.

The Lowells were notorious troublemakers. If they came knocking for an explanation, things would get

messy.

Laura carried Vivian’s things downstairs, then went to grab Linda and Judy’s stuff.
