Chapter 200

Chapter 200

Nina looked up.

It was Storm from the Xenith Alliance.

He ruled the underworld of Frontierland and had a passion for brewing his own liquor.

His personality was dark and sly, but when it came to love, he was a total fool.

Storm strode in, laughing loudly. He wore a black muscle shirt, cargo pants, and a pair of black boots.

The snug shirt showed off every line of his ripped physique.

Nina gave him a quick once-over, and then darted forward to attack.

“Damn!” Storm cursed, dodging out of the way.

“Come on, you fight dirty! I went and brewed a whole cellar of booze just to welcome you, you know!”

He caught Nina’s move as he spoke.

They traded blows for a few minutes, but Storm got careless and took a kick to the waist, stumbling back.

“Stop! Stop! Stop!” Storm shouted, waving his hands. “I surrender!”

Nina finally stopped, a half-smile on her face. “Looks like you’ve been living the good life lately?”

Storm lifted his chin proudly. “Of course! Just got myself a new girlfriend. She’s super gentle. Not like you, always acting like one of the guys.”

Nina clicked her tongue. “You serious this time?”

Storm shot her a glare. “When have I ever not been serious about my relationships?”

“Oh?” Nina smirked. “Serious enough to dump ten girlfriends one after another?”

Storm’s face flushed, but he defended himself, “That’s not on me! They’re just blind. I’m such a catch, and they still complain I’m too violent.”

He thought, ‘It’s not like I did anything crazy. I just got drunk and roughed up a few guys.

‘And those guys were the ones making moves on my girlfriends.

‘But somehow, my girlfriends totally lost it.

“They all said I was way too violent.

‘Damn it!

I’m such a gentle guy. How am I violent?’

Nina rubbed her temples. She thought, “This guy’s shamelessness is on par with Ryan’s.’

“Enough about that. Bro, you planning to stick around for a while this time?” Storm threw his arm around Nina’s shoulders. “It’s been ages since we had a drink together. Let’s drink till we drop!”

Before he could finish, a voice came from the doorway, “With your crappy tolerance, you can’t even outdrink me. And you

wanna go up against Kairo? Get outta here.”

Black Wolf walked in, dressed in casual sportswear.

He still carried a faint scent of blood, must’ve just come from a brawl.

Black Wolf walked right up to Nina, giving her a warm smile. “Heard you kicked Ryan to the curb. Why not consider me instead?”

Black Wolf was totally different from Storm and Grey Eagle.

He was handsome, always polite, and had a smile for everyone. He gave off that golden boy vibe.

He didn’t actually need glasses, but he always wore them, pulling off that deceptively refined bad boy look.

If Nina didn’t know what he was really like, she’d be totally fooled by his appearance.

Storm and Grey Eagle immediately put Black Wolf in a headlock from both sides. “You shameless bastard, keeping quiet and plotting something big, huh? Think you can marry her? Dream on!”

“I’m serious, Nina. Give me a chance,” Black Wolf called out.

Even as he was tangled up with Storm and Falconer, Black Wolf managed to squeeze in a word to Nina.

Nina rubbed her temples, rolling her eyes. “Alright, knock it off. I’ve got to get to the airport in a bit.”

As soon as she said that, the three of them froze mid-move, instantly stopping their scuffle.

“Leaving so soon? What’s the hurry?” one of them blurted out.

Storm frowned. “We just stirred up a storm at Crimson Syndicate’s compound. They’re probably turning the whole place upside down looking for us.

“The three of us can handle ourselves, but you heading back alone? That’s risky.”

Black Wolf added, “Why not stay at the base for a few days? We’ve got people we just rescued who need a place to stay. Once they’re settled, you can head back, no rush.”

“No,” Nina replied, her eyes narrowing. “I need to handle some business back home.”

She had to figure out who in the Swanson family had been working with Crimson Syndicate.

“You don’t have to rush back right away,” Black Wolf said. “Storm heard you were coming to Frontierland, so he busted out all his best homebrew. If we don’t crack those bottles open, he’ll lose his mind.
