If Scarlet had the complete formula, that meant what the Crimson Syndicate took from the house wasn’t the full version.
She thought, ‘Does Scarlet really want me to crack this formula?
And then what?
Hand it over to the government?
‘Or use it to bargain with them?
‘This formula has something to do with human mutation. Why did Scarlet study this?’
After a long silence, Nina suddenly looked up at Moira. “Be real with me, even if I hadn’t come, you all could’ve escaped from the Crimson Syndicate by yourselves, right?”
Moira smiled. “Of course.”
Nina smirked. “So you all let yourselves get caught on purpose?”
“That’s right,” Moira said. “The Crimson Syndicate was involved in an organ trafficking case, and we were investigating. The only way to really get answers was to infiltrate them from the inside.
“Too bad you showed up before we could finish the job.”
Nina was speechless.
She thought, ‘Just great.
‘I tried to save them, and ended up messing everything up.
‘Perfect. Just perfect.’
“You can reach Scarlet, too, can’t you?” Nina said, her voice firm.
Moira nodded, a hint of hesitation in her eyes. “We could, but right now we’ve lost contact with her.”
She paused for a moment before continuing, “But don’t worry. Scarlet knows how to protect herself. Plus, what she’s holding onto is way too important.
“Nobody’s going to lay a finger on her unless things get really desperate.”
“Alright, I get it,” Nina said.
As long as she knew Scarlet was still safe, that was enough for he
She slipped the potion formula into her pocket and turned to Moira. “I’m heading back home. Are you guys coming with me, or staying here?”
“We’re staying,” Moira replied. “Before you showed up, we found out Scarlet’s in Frontierland. We need to help her.”
Nina nodded. “Stay safe. If you need anything, just reach out to lack Wolf.”
Moira chuckled. “You say we’re keeping things from you, but are’t you just as sneaky? Your network’s already spread to Frontierland, and none of us even knew!”
Nina grinned. “Scarlet taught me well.”

Ryan honestly couldn’t care less whether James lived or died, but Max had called, saying Martin wouldn’t let him get involved in the Swanson family drama.
Max was worried this whole mess might affect Sarah and could make up his mind, so he asked Ryan what to do.
Of course, Ryan was just waiting to see what Nina wanted.
Nina’s expression turned cold. “Guess some people won’t back off until blood gets spilled.”
At the Lowell residence.
Stella was sitting in the living room, sipping her coffee, when their butler walked in and leaned in to whisper something in her ear.
“Martin? What’s he doing here?” Stella’s brows knitted, and a flash of disgust crossed her face.
Honestly, Stella couldn’t stand any of the Swanson kids, except Lily.
After all, Lily was special.
Stella’s eyes flashed. “Let him in.”
“Yes, ma’am,” the butler replied.
Ten minutes later, Martin walked in with a gift, following the butler.
“Grandma, this is a peacock blue sapphire freshly mined from the Gemstone Exchange. Hope you’ll like it,” Martin said with a smile, offering the gift.
Stella sat upright on the sofa, her expression haughty. She didn’t even spare the gift in Martin’s hand a glance, just left him hanging there.
Martin felt the sting of being ignored and humiliated, the smile on his face faltering.
“Alright, take it,” Stella finally said.
She nodded for the butler to take the gift away.
Once the butler left, Stella didn’t even offer Martin a seat. She just stared him down, eyes shrewd and cold, her attitude full of disdain. “What do you want?”
“I’m here to take my mother home,” Martin said. “And as for that video you have, I’ll pay you 30 million to buy it back. How about it?”
