The next morning. When Nina went downstairs, Ryan had alreally gotten breakfast ready for Sarah and her.

The whole family couldn’t help but stare at the breakfast in front of Nina and Sarah, swallowing hard.

At Sarah’s birthday party, Ryan and Nina had teamed up to cook an entire feast for her.

That was when everyone found out they were both top chefs for state parties.

Just looking at the food-how it looked, smelled, and tasted-was enough to make anyone’s mouth water.

Sarah couldn’t wait to dig in.

Ever since the birthday party, Nina hadn’t cooked at all, and Sarah had thought she’d never get to taste food this good again.

But now, here she was, about to enjoy a meal made by Ryan himself.

Even though Nina was her granddaughter, Sarah had to admit, Ryan’s cooking was more to her taste.

After the birthday party, Sarah and the other ladies sat around discussing which dishes were the tastiest.

Turned out, Ryan’s dishes were the clear winners.

It was not that Nina’s cooking wasn’t good. It was just that Ryan’s lavors matched their preferences more.

“Ryan, you’re a guest of the Swanson family. How could I trouble you to cook for me?” Sarah said, though she was clearly craving the meal and felt a bit embarrassed to ask.

After all, Nina and Ryan hadn’t defined their relationship yet.

“It’s my honor to cook for you and Nina,” Ryan replied, giving Nina a meaningful glance.

Nina just ignored him.

Ryan’s shamelessness had reached god-tier.

Ryan was supposed to head back yesterday.

But instead, he started playing the sympathy card with Sarah, moaning about how he was still injured and needed Nina’s medical skills to nurse him back to health.

He even went on about how Maria and Zachary were back in Berico, leaving him all alone in Riverdale, coming home to a cold, empty house every night.

Sarah and Maria were lifelong close friends.

When Ryan started with his sob story, Sarah couldn’t help but fel sorry for him, so she didn’t hesitate to let him stay at the Swanson residence.

Sure enough, Ryan spent the whole night knocking on Nina’s door, ten times, to be exact.

Every single time, he came up with some lame excuse, just to try and sneak in a little flirting

Nina kicked him out more than once, but Ryan was on a whole her level of shameless.

No matter how many times she threw him out, he’d be back before long with a brand new excuse, knocking again like nothing had happened.

Ryan was tactful enough to know that if Sarah ever caught him spending the night in Nina’s room, she’d be furious.

So, before anyone else was awake at the Swanson residence, he got up early and whipped up breakfast for Nina and Sarah.

Sarah pulled herself back to the present, glanced around the table, and spoke up, “There are a few things I want to talk

about.”

Everyone put down their forks and waited for her to speak.

She went on, “Lily called me last night. Nina’s welcome party is coming up soon, and she wants to come back with Vivian. It just doesn’t feel right if the whole family isn’t together.”

Sarah said, glancing at Nina, “So, Nina, I’ve decided to let them come back. And also Linda. Louise called me herself last night, and Linda apologized to me, too.

“I think they’ve learned their lesson this time. Let’s just put it behind us and let them come back.”

Honestly, Sarah wasn’t exactly thrilled about having Vivian back

But with everything that’d gone down lately, she just couldn’t shake the feeling that Vivian was scheming something.

More than twenty years ago, Vivian used a video to blackmail James into marrying her. Even after the wedding, there were several times they had intimate encounters, always without James knowing a thing.
