Sarah had seen the news last night, and it really shook her up.

She was so relieved that Nina and Ryan came back together. Otherwise, she would’ve worried herself sick.

The Swansons chatted about today’s headlines for a bit, but soon dropped the subject and moved on.

Once the room went silent, Nina set her fork down.

Everyone snapped their heads toward her, forks frozen in mid-air.

“I’ve got a few things to say,” Nina said, sounding totally chill.

The Swansons all dropped their forks at once.

They waited, eyes glued to Nina, ready to hear what she had to say.

“SN Corporation is investing 600 million dollars to help the Swanson family start a pharmaceutical company,” Nina said, her tone calm and unhurried.

She went on, “All the formulas my grandpa left behind-I’m going to turn them into real medicines and bring them to market.”

Martin’s face fell. “You’re really going to use Grandpa’s formulas? Nina, I know you run SN Corporation and you’re a powerhouse, but SN’s never touched the pharmaceutical field before. Besides…”

Before Martin could finish, Nina fixed him with a calm stare. “What, got an issue with my decision?” Martin just went silent, unable to say a word
