Nina waved Sean over. “Go get some dog food ready. Dump those people in front of the dog house and make them eat it.”

“Yes, miss,” Sean said.

Just as he was about to leave, Nina spoke up again, her tone calm but firm. “You get what I mean, right?”

Sean froze for a second and then quickly said, “I get it.”

This “dog food” wasn’t the kind one’d feed a pet.

He knew exactly what she meant.

If he messed up, he’d be the one choking down “dog food” next.

Sean had his men scoop up the food Nina had just kicked off the table. He found a big bowl, dumped everything in, and mixed it all together.

Then he split it into several smaller plates.

After that, he had his men hold David, Yvonne, and Elizabeth down, getting ready to feed them.

Elizabeth struggled wildly. “Who the hell are you? You think you can pull this kind of stunt in the Hawthorne family? Aren’t you afraid of the Hawthorne family’s revenge?”

“Revenge?” Nina laughed. “I’ll be right here waiting for your payback once I’m done with Miranda’s lesson.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Nina turned to Sean. “What’s the matter? Need me to do it for you?”

Sean didn’t waste a second. He grabbed David, pinched his mouth open, and shoved the food down his throat.

William stood off to the side, watching the whole thing with his Heart pounding.

He’d never seen anyone this ruthless before.

He had no idea who Nina really was, but he knew one thing for sure. There was no way this was ending well.

He wanted to step in, but he knew he couldn’t.

But no matter what, these were still his family.

He let out a sigh and said to Nina in a low voice, “Ms. Swanson…”

Before he could finish, Nina shot him a look. “What? You want aaste first?”

William was left speechless.

He took a quick step back.

“Do as you please,” he said.

William thought, Mom, David, Yvonne, It’s not that I don’t want to help, but there’s nothing I can do.

‘She’s way too ruthless. There’s no way I can go up against her.

Sean shoved the food into David, Yvonne, and Elizabeth’s mouth one by one.

David, Yvonne, and Elizabeth were retching and puking nonstop totally disgusted.

They were so drained that they couldn’t even spit out a curse.

Nina gave them a frosty look and then turned to Miranda. “Did you learn the lesson?”

Miranda was stunned, just staring at Nina in a daze.

‘Can I say no? Even if I had the nerve, I don’t have the strength for this, Miranda thought.

But with Nina’s face cold as ice, Miranda could only nod. “Yes.”

“Then let’s start Lesson Two,” Nina said coolly. “If someone respects me, I’ll respect them back. But if someone messes with me, I’ll hit back ten times harder.”

With that, Nina turned to Sean. “Set up a kennel in this villa. Get a few dogs over here and throw these people in.

“Since they love dogs so much, they can live with them for a few days. Once they’ve got their heads straight, we’ll move on to

Lesson Three.”

Elizabeth completely lost it. “You wretched little brat! I’ll rip your skin off, pull out your tendons, and make sure you die a horrible death!”

Then she turned to Miranda, her voice shaking with fury. “You ungrateful brat! I knew nothing good would come from bringing you back.

“Siding with outsiders against your own father, grandmother, and aunt? If I’d known. I would’ve choked you to death the moment you came back.”

Nina didn’t react at all, showing not even the slightest trace of anger on her face.

She just stared at Miranda in silence, saying nothing.

Miranda felt her scalp tingle under that stare. “Aunt Nina, is something wrong?”

Nina drummed her long fingers on her leg, her tone slow and unhurried. “So, what did you just learn?”

Miranda stiffened, stunned for a long moment before she finally reacted.

She shot a look at Elizabeth, then at Nina, took a deep breath, stode right up to Elizabeth, and slapped her hard across the face. “Shut your filthy mouth, you old witch! How dare you call yourself my grandmother?”
