As soon as Luna finished, she tried to leave, but Linda grabbed her arm. “Why are you trying to save her? Hazel went out with Waverly. Nothing is going to happen. She is with family.

“And even if something did, you’re just a student, what can you possibly do? Listen to me, there’s still time. Let’s go see Professor Calderon. I fought tooth and nail for this opportunity for you, don’t you dare waste it.”

Luna frowned. “Mom! Hazel is family, too. Could you really live with yourself if something happened to her? I do want to get into Betrico University, but none of that matters compared to family.”

“Luna!” Linda snapped, her voice sharp with anger. “Are you trying to make me lose my mind?”

I’m sorry. Mom!” Luna said.

Luna said, then dashed out the door.

Half an hour later. Luna rushed to Morgan’s villa and started frantically pressing the doorbell.

Luna shouted, her voice shaking with desperation, “Mr. Tucker,e you there? Please, you have to help me! Hazel’s in trouble!”

Soon, the door opened, and Morgan appeared, his brows furrowed in concern. “Hazel’s in trouble? What happened?”

“Waverly took her,” Luna said urgently, her voice trembling. “Everyone is out searching, but Nina is not around, and we’re short-handed. You’re the only one I could think of helping, so I me straight here.”

Ever since Luna and Nina patched things up, she and Hazel had gotten a lot closer.

It was only recently that Luna found out Hazel was into painting and she’d even become Morgan’s student.

Luna was honestly super jealous since she loved painting, too.

She kept begging Hazel to introduce her to Morgan.

Hazel didn’t agree at first, but after checking with Morgan, she finally said yes and brought Luna along.

Morgan saw Luna had some real talent, so he let her learn painting alongside Hazel.

He said teaching one or two made no difference to him, especially since they were both Nina’s people.

But Morgan never made Luna his official apprentice.

Still, Luna was already thrilled just to learn from him.

Morgan’s expression turned cold. “Someone dares to lay a finger on my student? They’re asking for trouble!”
