Felix was stunned. “Ryan, is that really necessary? Even if you two aren’t brothers anymore, he’s still one of us. Just sending him away like this for no reason? He won’t be able to handle it.”

“Just do as I say,” Ryan said.

Felix wanted to say more, but seeing how dark Ryan’s face was, he swallowed his words. “Yes, I’ll file the report right away.”

After Felix left, Ryan stubbed out his cigarette, got up, and poured himself a glass of whiskey. He walked over to the window, gazing out at the view, and let out a quiet sigh.

‘Jason, you’d better not make me deal with you myself, Ryan thought.

Meanwhile, Nina, Miranda, and Loren boarded a flight to Riverdale.

Cheney, on the other hand, headed to Roveilia.

When they got to Riverdale, Nina told Loren to go home and get some rest. She had some business to take care of with Miranda.

Loren still hadn’t fully recovered from his illness, and the long journey to Riverdale and then Betrico had really worn him out.

He was definitely feeling drained after all the back-and-forth these past few days.

When they got there, Morgan was busy working on his canvas.

In front of him, several people were sprawled out haphazardly, lying around in a mess.

Morgan was already dressed, and on his canvas was a clear painting of those very people lying right in front of him.

Hearing the commotion outside, Morgan just glanced up, not even pausing his brushstrokes.

Morgan clicked his tongue. “Tsk. Babe, you’re slowing down. I’m almost done with this painting.”
