She thought, ‘Even if Nina didn’t turn Waverly into the Justice Bureau, she sure wouldn’t let her off easy.

‘But Nina has actually brought Waverly home.’

Nina walked over to the dining table and sat down, her tone calm and steady. “Grandma, we’re family. Let’s let bygones be bygones. Waverly promised me she’ll never do something like this again.”

She looked over at Waverly. “Isn’t that right, Waverly?”

Waverly shifted uneasily and nodded. “Yes, that’s right.”

Nina grinned. “It’s just money, really. I gave Waverly 1.2 billion. With that kind of cash, she won’t be stirring up drama anymore. We’re family. No need to fuss over something like this.”

As soon as Nina said that, the whole family was totally floored.

Hazel stared at Nina, completely lost.
