323 Chapter 323
323.Chapter 323
Stella’s face flushed with anger and humiliation.
She slammed her hand on the table and snapped, “Repay? How could you possibly repay? Your brother is dead, and you’ll never be able to make it up to him, not in this lifetime.
“If he hadn’t fathered a daughter behind our backs, he wouldn’t Have left any heirs at all. Vivian, you’re nothing but a sinner. Don’t forget it. Everything you do now is just make up for your sins!”
Vivian’s hand trembled as she gripped the phone.
Each word from Stella felt like a needle stabbing into her heart.
Mason didn’t die because of her, but everyone blamed her for it.
They used Mason’s death to guilt-trip her, control her, and mess with her head.
They made her gradually accept the idea that Mason died because of her.
She had given everything to the Lowell family, but nobody ever noticed.
They just took it all for granted. She felt utterly drained.
Vivian took a deep breath. She didn’t have the energy to fight with Stella anymore, so she just said, “I’ll keep an eye on Lily. You don’t need to worry. I’ve got stuff to handle, so I’m hanging up.”
Just as Vivian was about to hang up, Stella cut in, “And don’t forget about the Swanson family’s secret formula. Make sure you get it.”
“Mom!” Vivian gritted her teeth. “Nina already took Samuel’s formula and started her own pharmaceutical company. Even if we got our hands on it now, it’d be useless.
“Besides, the Swanson family hates me so much that they won’t let me anywhere near their core secrets. How am I even supposed to pull that off?”
“That’s your problem, not mine,” Stella snapped. “You have to ge me that formula. If they can start a company, so can we. Worst case, we’ll just start a price war.
“We need a new project to keep us afloat. You’ve got one month Get it done. Don’t waste my time.”
Before Vivian could say another word, Stella hung up.
Vivian stared at the phone after Stella hung up, her face stormy with rage. She slammed the phone onto the bed, seething with anger.
Just then, she heard Laura and Nina chatting downstairs. Laura was asking Nina if she wanted some dinner.
It felt like everyone in this house was fond of Nina, everyone except Vivian.
‘Was it really right to treat my own daughter like an enemy, just because of Lily?’ Vivian wondered.
She couldn’t deny that she was starting to regret it.
The child she had abandoned for failing the IQ test turned out to be the brightest among all the Swanson children.
Even across the whole country, there were hardly any who could rival her talent.
‘If I hadn’t abandoned Nina back then. If I’d actually raised her myself, would I be living it up now?’ Vivian wondered to herself.
Vivian shook her head and thought, ‘No, Nina’s the kind of person who’s just cold inside. Even if I’d done everything right, she would never love me.
‘Guess it’s fine the way things are now. At least I don’t have to carry any guilt over Nina.
Downstairs, Nina greeted Laura and went straight back to her room.
She booted up her laptop, fingers flying over the keys. In seconds, a string of profiles filled the screen.
Nina stared at the list, and her brow knitted in concern.
‘Seriously? There are twenty people named Lawrence Nicholson Nina thought, taken aback.
And not a single one had a photo attached.
Nina sat there, deep in thought, then kept digg
But suddenly, her computer came under attack
Successfully unlocked!
Nina’s fingers froze on the keyboard. For the first time, she was actually stunned.
After a long pause, she suddenly grinned. “Now this is interesting!”
‘There’s actually a hacker out there whose skills can match mine? Nina thought. ‘Who could it be?’

323 Chapter 323
She knew everyone in the Cyber Guild. Not to brag, but none of them were better than her.
She and Ryan were tied for first place on the hacker rankings.
So far, the only one who could really go toe-to-toe with her was yan. They were evenly matched.
If it were Ryan, he wouldn’t be able to get into her system either
When two hackers were equally skilled, neither could break through the other’s defenses.
‘Just who did Lawrence get to hack me?’ Nina thought, her mind racing.
Just as Nina was deep in thought, her phone chimed. It was a text notification.
She unlocked her phone and saw a message from Ryan: [Go to the front door. I’ve sent you something!]
Nina put her phone away and headed downstairs.
There was nobody outside. She walked forward a few steps, and out of nowhere, someone grabbed her and pulled her right into a familiar pair of arms.
