Martin had to know he wasn’t really a Swanson.

She guessed he probably even knew he and Lily had the same father.

“Call him right now and tell him to bring it here himself,” Martin demanded, his voice cold.

Waverly laughed and said, “You think I’m a fool? So you can destroy the evidence and kill me? Martin, I’ve known you since you were a boy; I know how you think. Without my insurance, you two would have torn me apart long ago.”

Martin’s eyes were ruthless and cold. “Do you really think I couldn’t kill you right here and now?”

“Do it,” Waverly spat back. “Kill me, and we’ll both rot in hell together.”
