Heiress Returns Family Shocks (Nina Swanson) novel Chapter 341

341 Chapter 341

341.Chapter 341

When Martin arrived at the casino, Waverly had already gotten herious beating from Vincent’s men.

She was covered in bruises and cuts, lying on the floor, barely hanging on.

When Waverly saw Martin, she crawled over and clung to his leg She said, “Martin, save me”

Martin shot her a cold look, then turned his gaze to Vincent.

He’d seen this guy before.

He was the heir of the Sherman family.

The Sherman family was seriously loaded.

No one really knew just how rich they were.

But rumor had it, even the Foster family’s fortune couldn’t hold candle to the Sherman family’s.

That was because the Sherman family was backed by an Ancient Martial Clan.

The Ancient Martial Clan had stayed hidden for centuries, building up a fortune that just kept growing. The Sherman family s wealth was basically bottomless.

Vincent was a strange guy. He had all that money, but you’d never see any women hanging around him.

He had plenty of hobbies, but his favorite was gambling.

But he wasn’t a gambler.

They called him the Gambling King.

He’d never lost, not even once.

Whenever he won, he’d cash out and leave, never got hooked, never let the thrill mess with his head.

And every bet Vincent made was at the highest stakes.

Martin thought, ‘Waverly’s such an airhead. Did she seriously not even look into who she was betting against?

‘She lost and still tried to skip out on paying up. Honestly, it’s a miracle Vincent didn’t have her taken out on the spot.

‘If Waverly didn’t have proof of the shady stuff I’d done, she’d be a corpse on this floor right now.’

Martin took a deep breath, getting his nerves in check before facing Vincent. He said, “Mr. Sherman, I’m here to bail her out.”

Vincent raised an eyebrow and snuffed out his cigarette in the ashtray. He asked, “You know me?”

“Someone like you, Mr. Sherman, pretty much everyone knows who you are,” Martin said. “My aunt messed up. I’m here to say sorry for her. I brought the cash. Just let her go.”

Vincent’s narrow eyes stayed fixed on Martin for a moment, then he finally said, “Leave the money. Take her.”

Martin was honestly surprised Vincent was so straightforward about it. He’d totally expected Vincent to make things difficult.

Martin dropped off the 3-billion-dollar check, grabbed Waverly, and got out of there.

Vincent picked up the 3-billion-dollar check and flicked it with his finger. He said, “Stayed up all night for just this? Nina had better pay me back big time.”

With that, Vincent got up and headed to the casino office.

But when he got there, Nina was nowhere to be seen.

“Where’s Nina?” Vincent asked.

Simon rubbed his temples and replied, “She’s gone to bed.”

Vincent’s eyes went wide behind his gold-rimmed glasses; he could hardly believe it. “Seriously? I spent all night hustling to get her that cash, and she just goes off to sleep?” Vincent asked feeling totally speechless.

Simon gave an awkward laugh. He said, “Nina said you should head back to the hotel and get some rest. She’ll treat you to dinner tonight.”

“Do I look like I need her to buy me dinner?” Vincent said, his irration spiking.

Vincent thought, ‘Man, it’s been forever since |!

‘Did all that for her, and she just ditches me for

Simon cleared his throat and said, “Uh, I’m gonna go crash, toom beat.”

Vincent just stood there, totally speechless.

Vincent thought, grinding his teeth, ‘Alright, fine.

‘So this is how she treats me now?

‘Just use me and dump me, huh?’

Vincent was so pissed, he tossed the check aside and stormed but. He said, “Ungrateful little thing. Tell her I’m heading

over to Morgan’s place. She’d better bring some top-shelf liquor tonight.”

After Vincent left, Simon picked up the 3-billion-dollar check and knocked on Nina’s door.

Soon, Nina opened up.

Simon passed her the check.

Nina just slipped the check into her pocket. She asked, “He left?

“Yeah, he left,” Simon said with a sigh. “You don’t even like the guy, so why get him involved?”

‘Now you’re just avoiding him?’ Simon thought, feeling helpless.

Nina gave him a sideways glance. She said, “It wasn’t me who called him.”

Simon was speechless.

Simon thought, ‘Fine, so Vincent came running over all on his own.

He couldn’t help but wonder what brought this big shot, Vincent to the casino.

It turned out he was here for Nina.
