“We trust Ruby. She’d never sell us out. But right now, we have no idea if she’s safe. That’s why we’ve decided you and Ryan will take the lead on this mission. You have to track down Ruby’s whereabouts. Bring her back, dead or alive.”

Nina frowned, and after a long pause, she finally asked, “Why did you shut down Midnight Club?”

Wylder explained, “Ruby started Midnight Club. Most of the people there are with the organization. When she got into trouble, her people had to clear out.

“And before it all went down, Ryan got a message from her. She asked us to lock down Midnight Club due to leaking classified information.”

Wylder added, “On top of that, Ruby wants you to finish the formula and come up with the antidote. The formula itself isn’t the main thing, but the antidote is absolutely critical.

“Her experimental formula got stolen, and she went undercover just to chase it down. Right now, the formula’s still incomplete, but from what she uncovered, the enemy is hiring top experts at any cost, working day and night to figure it

out.

Wylder paused, then said, “As for Iris, you don’t need to worry about her. She’s a key member of Ruby’s team, and we will look after her safety.

Nina gave Wylder a flat look. “Next time, just get to the point. Don’t beat around the bush.”
