Charles’s face fell. “Are you feeling it too?”

Grace blinked in surprise. “Wait, you too?”

Charles nodded. “Ever since I woke up this morning. I’ve just felt uneasy, like something bad’s about to happen.”

“You don’t think something’s happened to Ryan, do you?” Grace said, her voice full of worry.

Charles hesitated. “Come on, that can’t be it, right? Didn’t we already figure out all that weird stuff at home was just that Newton kid pulling some prank?”

Grace thought for a second, then nodded. “Yeah, that’s true. That kid’s gotten hurt so many times over the years, but he always pulls through. He’ll make it out okay this time, too.”

“Yeah, and besides, Nina’s in Betrico too. Even if something does happen to him, Nina will save him. I even heard she’s actually the Miracle Doctor,” Charles said.

Grace’s eyes widened in surprise. “The Miracle Doctor?”

She waved dismissively. “No need to worry. The Miracle Doctor can literally bring people back from the dead. If anything happens to Ryan, we’ll just offer everything the Foster family has and beg Nina to save him.”

Grace straightened up, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “Come on, let’s go settle the score with the Goodwin family first.”

With that, she strode straight toward the Goodwin family’s house.

The security guards at the gate recognized Grace instantly and instinctively made way for her.

After all, the Goodwin family and the Foster family did business together, and Frank and Rowdy were actually old buddies.

Plus, five years ago, Grace was a regular at the Goodwin family’s place.

Grace didn’t waste any words. She ordered, “Call Samson and tell him I want to see him now!”
