Chapter 506
Back at Riverdale, the Swanson family, ever since Nina left for Betrico, the men of the Swanson family had been busier than
ever.
James was in charge of the Swanson Group.
Michael and Robert were handling the pharmaceutical company
The Swanson family was thriving, but the ladies had nothing to keep them busy,
Linda and Judy, worried that Sarah might get bored at home alone, took her to the beauty salon for some pampering.
As soon as the three of them put on their face masks, Linda, feeling bored, picked up her phone and started scrolling through her social media.
When she opened her news feed and saw the post, she sat bolt upright,
“Oh my god. Nina and Ryan just got their marriage license,” Lingh said,
Linda was so hyped she yanked off the face mask she’d just put on.
“What?” Sarah blurted out, all worked up as she tore off her own mask. “When did this happen? Why am I just hearing about it now?”
“Just now,” Linda said, and shoved her phone at Sarah. “Nina posted it ten minutes ago; the ink on the marriage certificate hasn’t even dried yet.”
Sarah stared at the photo of the marriage certificate, tears welling up in her eyes. She said, “They did it. Finally, Nina’s got
someone to look out for her now.”
Ryan was the grandson of her bestie, and Maria was a stand-up woman, so Ryan had to be a good guy, too.
Besides, Sarah had gotten to know Ryan over time, and she knew he was really outstanding
To her, Ryan was the only one she could ever see with Nina.
Still, Sarah couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy about it.
Nina had gotten married, and she hadn’t even told her. Just like hat, it was done,
She let out a long sigh.
“The kids are all grown up now,’ Sarah thought.
Judy sat up, too. She said, “What are we waiting for? Let’s hurry me and figure out what to do about the wedding.”
“True,” Linda said. “We have to figure this out. Nina’s in Betrico, ut Ryan’s family follows Riverdale tradition; the wedding should be here. The problem is, the Fosters are a huge family. Thveling here would be tough for everyone.”
“Where the wedding happens is the least of our worries,” Judy sat. “The real question is, what’s the Foster family’s attitude? Nina and Ryan already got their marriage license, so a lot of things are harder to negotiate now.”
Linda paused and turned to Sarah, asking, “Mom, what should we do? We can’t skip proper traditions. The Fosters likely knew about the license before us and haven’t spoken up. You don’t think they’d skip the wedding altogether, do you?”
“No way,” Sarah said. “Even if no one else says anything, I know y old friend Maria would never let Nina be wronged, Let’s head home and wait to see what the Foster family does.”

Sarah and Maria were lifelong friends, practically sisters, so normally, they wouldn’t get hung up on these little things.
But marriage was a once-in-a-lifetime deal, and it’s tradition for the groom’s side to step up first.
No matter how close she and Maria were, there couldn’t be any shortcuts when it came to the proper traditions.
Nina deserved to be treated right.
And when it came to Nina’s wedding, Sarah was determined; it had to be absolutely perfect, no exceptions.
Meanwhile, in Betrico, at Sherman Manor, Vincent saw Nina’s post on social media and kicked the chair in front of him, his face twisted with rage. He said, “Nice move, Ryan.”
He thought, ‘He actually took advantage of me being busy helping Nina out and snatched her away right under my nose!
Vincent stared at the marriage certificate in Nina’s post, that bright color stinging his eyes like an insult.
He thought, ‘Nina belongs to me.
‘No one will ever take her from me!’
Vincent narrowed his eyes and called Walter. He said, “Useless. Get over here. I have a job for you.”
Walter hung up and hurried over immediately.
“Vincent,” Walter called out, nearly out of breath from sprinting over; he really didn’t want Vincent to call him useless again.
Vincent had already cooled off. He lounged on the sofa, lazily swirling his wine. He said, “Go find me a woman and make her look exactly like Nina.”
Walter hesitated, glancing at Vincent. He asked, “Vincent, didn’t Nina tell you not to mess with Ryan?”
