When Nina went out to sign for the delivery, the Swanson famil exchanged glances, put down their utensils, and followed her outside.

When they saw the limited-edition, top-of-the-line motorcyclearked right in the middle of the yard, the Swanson family was all stunned, except for Martin.

He’d seen Nina on that bike before.

After she came back, Nina spent most of her time at home and hardly ever rode it, so the motorcycle just stayed parked in the garage.

But lately, he hadn’t seen it around.

Martin had always assumed the motorcycle was a gift from Ryan

He figured Nina must’ve had a fight with Ryan, so Ryan probably took the bike back for a while.

But now, it was back.

So, Nina and Ryan must’ve made up while they were outside.

Martin let out a cold laugh. ‘So much for Nina acting all tough; turns out, even she couldn’t resist Ryan’s wealth,’ he thought.

Who could ever let a guy like Ryan go?’ Martin scoffed inwardly. All that fuss Nina made, was it just for this motorcycle? Just to flaunt it in front of the Swanson family? What a joke!’

“Holy crap. That’s the top-of-the-line motorcycle. It’s worth 2 million dollars, and you can’t even buy it with money. How does Nina have one?” one of the younger Swanson family members blurted out.

“Maybe Ryan gave it to her? Gotta admit, hanging out with those club girls really taught Nina a thing or two. Ryan just hands over a bike that expensive like it’s nothing,” another chimed in.

“Seriously, is Ryan out of his mind? He could have any woman he wants, so why does he have to go for Nina? She’s been working in clubs for years; who knows which old guy took her virginity?

“And Ryan actually wants a used-up girl like her,” someone else stoffed.

The younger Swanson family gathered around the motorcycle, gossiping away.

Ethan stormed over to Luna, grabbed her by the collar, and snarled, “Shut your filthy mouth. If you say one more thing about Nina, I’ll make sure you can’t talk again. You hear me?”

As soon as he finished, Linda shrieked, “Ethan, what are you doing? Let Luna go.”

Ethan shot her a cold glare, shoved Luna toward Linda, and said cily, “Control your daughter. If I catch her trash-talking Nina again, I’ll deal with you both.”

Luna, humiliated in front of everyone, stuck out her chin and snapped back, “Did I say anything wrong? Wasn’t Nina raised by nightclub girls? Nightclubs are full of all kinds of people. Who knows who she lost it to?

“Ryan’s the head of the Foster family in Betrico. He could have any woman he wants, but he chooses trash like Nina. Tell me I’m wrong.”

The whole place went dead silent.

Linda tried to cover Luna’s mouth, but it was too late.

Linda stomped her foot in frustration.

‘Is Luna crazy?’ Linda thought, her heart racing. Why suddenly mess with Nina? Sarah treats Nina like her precious gem, and Ryan spoils her rotten. Is Luna seriously asking for trouble?

Linda thought all this, then glanced up to see everyone’s reactions.

Nina stood there with her arms crossed, throwing Linda a mocking half-smile.

Sarah’s face was as dark as a storm cloud.

Linda realized she was screwed.

“You’ve got a death wish,” Ethan stormed up to Luna, ready to slap her, but someone beat him to it.

A loud slap rang out, and everyone stared in shock at the culprit

James calmly lowered his hand, his face unreadable, his tone giving nothing away. “Did you just call my daughter trash?” James said.

Linda’s heart skipped a beat. Before Luna could say another word, she quickly covered her mouth and awkwardly explained, “James, she is young and doesn’t know any better. Please don’t take it to heart. I apologize on her behalf.”

Then she turned to Nina and said, “Nina, I apologize for Luna. Please don’t hold it against her. I’ll make sure she learns her lesson when we get home.”

Nina leaned lazily against the motorcycle, her expression cool. Does she not have a mouth of her own?”
