Nina snapped out of her thoughts, glanced at the rough gem in ont of Franco, then calmly looked away. “It was only worth 15 million a few years ago.”

She hadn’t touched rough gems in ages. Her sense of their value was still stuck years ago; she had no idea the prices had gotten this ridiculous.

Elaine was speechless. She thought Nina’s earnest yet slightly dated expression was truly provoking.

Meanwhile, Julian and Lydia looked like they’d just seen a ghost. They never could have imagined that after scoring rough gems worth 10 million, they’d get completely wiped out by a single gem Nina had randomly picked.

The onlookers were right. There was no need to go any further. That one gem alone was all it took to win.

Elaine glanced up and saw Julian and Lydia’s grim faces. She let out a mocking laugh, lounged back in her chair, and said, “Mr. Mercer, you’ve got one minute to get ready for your striptease.”

Julian’s face went even paler.

When he suggested the loser do a striptease, he never in a million years thought he’d actually lose. Now that he had, he didn’t even have the guts to go through with it.

With so many people around, if he actually did it, someone would definitely record it and post it online. And once his dad ever saw that, he’d probably kill him.

Nina glanced up, cool and unhurried. “No need to rush. There are still four gems left to open.”

Elaine paused, a little surprised. “We’ve already won. Do we really need to bother with the rest?”

Nina’s lips quirked into a playful smirk. “It’s fun, isn’t it?”

Elaine chuckled. “Sure, why not? Since we have nothing to do today, let’s play with them for a while.””

Elaine told Franco to keep going.

Nina didn’t bother telling Franco where to start cutting, but he was a seasoned pro, and after seeing that premium emerald show up, he knew Nina was the real deal.

Therefore, he took his time and was extra careful with the next gut.

When the second gem was cut open, Nina heard someone suck in a sharp breath. Then, everyone who’d been sitting shot to their feet, and the whole place went dead silent-the only sound was people gasping in surprise.

If it weren’t for their eyes still blinking, she’d think they’d all frozen.

Elaine didn’t get the whole gem thing; she could tell it was some emerald again, but judging from everyone’s stunned faces, she honestly couldn’t figure out if that was a good sign or not.

She turned to Nina and asked, “Nina, how much is this one wort?”

Nina glanced up at the freshly cut gem in front of Franco, a fain smile playing on her lips. “It’s worth double what the last

one was.”

Elaine’s jaw dropped, and she stared at Nina in utter disbelief. “Er real?”

She thought, ‘Seriously, how does she stay so chill talking about gems worth this much?”
