Julian hadn’t expected he would be so lucky. Not only did he uncover a piece of silky emerald, but he also found some dark

emeralds.

When it came to quality, dark emeralds definitely had the edge over silky emeralds. Generally speaking, dark emeralds would cost more.

However, silky emerald was rare, and with its price getting hype up lately, it was actually worth more overall.

Still, that was already pretty amazing. Put together, those two stones were worth at least 10 million.

There weren’t many good ones in this freshly arrived batch of rough gems at the Gemstone Exchange.

Dark emeralds and silky emeralds were both rare, and Julian managed to snag both.

Nina was clueless about gems, and even if she lucked out and picked a few that turned out to be emeralds, none of them would come close to Julian’s in value.

Thinking about it, Julian looked up at Nina, itching to throw some shade her way. However, when he saw Elaine standing right next to her, he swallowed his words.

He thought, ‘Whatever, now is not the time to run my mouth. Once I win this bet, I’ll make sure to humiliate Nina properly.

“Keep going,” Julian said calmly, telling Franco to cut the rest of the rough gems.

He didn’t care if the next three stones turned out to be emeralds or not. As far as he was concerned, he had this in the bag. All he had to do was sit back and wait for the results.

Lydia didn’t get the whole gem thing, but she knew that a 10-million lead was enough to blow Nina out of the water. She turned to glance at Nina, excitement shining in her eyes.

She thought, ‘Just wait. I’m going to film Nina doing her striptease and blast it all over the internet. That’ll trash her reputation and get her booted from the Swanson family once and for all.

Meanwhile, Nina was slouched in her chair, eyes glued to the documents on her phone. The shouts from the crowd only made her frown; she didn’t even bother to look up.

The documents had been sent over by Simon; it was Miranda’s profile.

The DNA test results for Miranda and Scarlet had already come out two days ago. It turned out that Miranda was Scarlet’s daughter.

The day Nina got the results, she had Simon pull up every scrap of info on Miranda since she joined the Hawthorne family. And she’d just received the investigation report a minute ago.

Nina glanced at the report and let out a smile, but her expression was still chilling.

She’d planned to visit the Hawthorne family in a few days, but it looked like she’d have to bump up her plans.

Nina was zoning out when someone suddenly yelled, “No freaking way. It’s a premium emerald. Ms. Swanson is really lucky. She just grabbed some random stones, and they turned out to be premium emeralds.”

“Game over, man. One piece of premium emerald nails all of M Mercer’s gems. No point in cutting the rest.”

“I remember last year at the Seabridge auction, a premium emeld went for 30 million. This one looks even better than the auction piece. It’s gotta be worth even more, right?”

“Seriously? I don’t think this is just luck. Premium emeralds are crazy rare; nobody has found any in the market for years. How did Ms. Swanson pull this off? That’s gotta be skills.”

Elaine couldn’t hide her shock. She always knew Nina was talented, but she never imagined she’d be this outstanding.

With just a casual pick. Nina landed a premium emerald worth 30 million. That just impressed Elaine.

Then something clicked for Elaine, and she gave Nina a dramatic look, her lips twitching. “Nina, were you serious when you said the Gemstone Exchange’s top gem was worth only 15 million?”
