Ryan had barely finished his sentence when a few bodyguards roughly dragged Julian out without a second thought.

Julian was still completely stunned as he was hauled outside, his mind blank and unable to process what had just happened.

He thought, ‘Ryan Foster? Seriously, what kind of freak is Nina? lex Carter respects her so much. Lanelle is her friend. And now even Ryan Foster is treating her like they’re really close.

Just how many people does she actually know? Was she really raised by a club girl? Could someone who grew up in a club really rub shoulders with big shots like that?

‘But that’s not the real issue. The real problem is that with Ryan tepping in, I’m screwed, and so is our family.

Once Julian was finally dragged out, Ryan glanced down at Nina and said, “If you ever want a man, come to me. I look way better than that loser.”

Nina couldn’t even find words for that. Julian really was hard to look at.

Nina paused for a moment, frowned, and said, “Did you send someone to follow me again? Ryan, do you want me to beat you up?”

When they were seeing each other, Ryan always had someone tailing her. He always claimed it was to keep her safe.

But honestly, every time she ran into trouble, Ryan showed up in no time. Most of the time, he was the one cleaning up her

messes.

She’d made it clear a million times that she didn’t want anyone following her around, but Ryan just did whatever he wanted.

Ryan glanced at Nina’s pissed-off expression and smirked, “No, just want you.”

Nina was speechless.

‘Maybe I shouldn’t have given him another chance,’ Nina thought.

“Ryan, have you no shame? Nina has already broken up with your Elaine snapped, her blood boiling the moment she saw

him.

She thought, ‘This damn bastard. I’ve finally managed to get some alone time with Nina, and now he just has to show up and steal her away.

“Nina agreed to let me try to win her back,” Ryan said coolly, not even blinking.

Elaine’s eyes went wide as she stared at Nina in disbelief. “Nina, are you out of your mind? You already kicked this cheating Jerk to the curb, and now you’re actually giving him another chance?”

Elaine wasn’t at the Swanson residence that morning, so she had no clue about what Jason told Nina.

“Nina, if you want a man, just let me know. I can introduce you someone way better than Ryan,” Elaine insisted.

Elaine shot Ryan a glare. “He’s like gum stuck to your shoe. Won leave you alone. Sure, he’s got a nice face and can cook a little, but that’s about it. His attitude stinks. Seriously, keep your distance from him.”

Before Elaine could finish, Ryan grabbed her by the collar. “If you ever find a guy who’s better looking and can cook better than me, then you can try stealing her away. Until then, stand as le.”

Elaine flailed, fuming. “Ryan, you jerk, let go of me. I’m going to et Nina dump you.”

Ryan let out a cold laugh. “If you’re trying to get Nina to dumpe, of course I’m not letting you go.”

Ryan handed Elaine off to his bodyguards. “Take her home. Do let her interrupt my time alone with Nina.”

Elaine yelled, “Ryan, you bastard! Nina, help…”

Nina pinched the bridge of her nose, giving Ryan an exasperated look. “Are you done with the drama yet?”

Ryan pouted, looking all aggrieved. “I didn’t start it, she did. Nin, you always take her side.”

Nina was speechless.

She ignored Ryan and strode over to the bodyguard holding Elaine, saying coldly, “Let her go.”

The bodyguard immediately released Elaine.

The head bodyguard turned to Ryan with a dead serious face. “Mr. Foster, Ms. Swanson told me to let her go.”

Dude was in full survival mode. Sure, he could risk ignoring Ryan, but he wouldn’t dare cross Nina.

Ryan just stared, lost for words.
