Since Janice didn't have a favorable impression of the Grays, her smile faded as well. "Oh. So you're Mr. and Mrs. Gray. I finally got to meet you today."

He quickly said, "My wife and daughter have been spoiled by me. If they offended you in any way, Mrs. Jensen, please don't take it to heart."

His response made Janice and Adrian exchange looks. They both realized that Sheila and Rachel didn't tell Francis about what happened at the Jensen residence that day.

That made things a lot more amusing now.

"Mrs. Gray and Ms. Gray didn't even get to meet my wife that day, so no, they didn't offend her," Adrian replied with a chuckle.

He pretended to seem conflicted, as though he had no say in the matter and was merely obeying Adam's instructions.

Meanwhile, Francis jolted slightly when he heard that. He didn't understand why Adam was involved, but when he looked at Sheila and Rachel again, he noticed that their expressions looked even more unpleasant now.

He nearly had an aneurysm. Just how many people did they offend in a single trip to the Jensen residence?
