The sweet, refreshing taste slid down her throat, making her feel like it really wasn’t that big of a deal.
What was wrong with a family enjoying some good food behind closed doors?
“Alright,” she said. “Then we’ll go. We’ll pick a weekend, take the kids, and quietly go as a family.” She glanced at Cyrus. “You don’t have to come. Since you’re in the military, it’s not convenient for you to show up.”
Cyrus smiled. “Okay. Then I’ll leave it to Mom and Dad.”
He reached up and took two storage buttons off his neck, handing them to his wife. “They’re filled with vegetables, fruit, and eggs I bought from the farm. It should last us for a while. When you go again next time, just buy some more.”
The two children ran around the table, touching this and sniffing that, their laughter never stopping.
At the same time, the other four people who had returned from the farm went through experiences very similar to Cyrus’s after they got home.
Leo went straight to the nursing home where his mother was staying.
He handed one of the storage buttons, packed with vegetables, fruit, and eggs, to her.
His mother checked the contents with her mental power. “Why did you buy so much? They provide my meals here. I don’t have any use for all these vegetables and eggs.”
“Mom, these are different.”
He leaned close and whispered into her ear. “Mom, I bought these from Tycoon Farm. Their food can help restore mental power. If you don’t believe me, give it a try.”
His mother really didn’t believe him.
If mental power could be restored that easily, so many people in this world wouldn’t die from mental power rampages.
Still, under her son’s eager gaze, she helplessly took out three strawberries from the storage button.
After eating the first one, she leaned back against the couch and closed her eyes. The dull ache in her head felt as though someone had wiped away part of it with a cool, damp cloth.
She ate the second one, and the refreshing feeling became even more obvious.
After finishing the third, she opened her eyes and looked at the now–empty plate. Suddenly, she didn’t want to cat any more.
“H–How is this possible?” Her face was full of shock and disbelief.

Chapter 613 Sharing the Harvest
Seeing his mother’s reaction, Leo immediately knew the fruit had worked on her.
His father had died in battle before he was born. His mother had raised him all by herself.
To give him a better life, she had suffered greatly when she was young.

As a result, her mental power had been badly damaged. Now it was already close to the critical point.
To keep his mother from being exiled, Leo had done everything he could to get her into the military’s best nursing home.
But no matter how good the nursing home’s environment was, it couldn’t stop her mental power from getting weaker day by day.
He had tried nutrient solutions. He had tried all kinds of supplements. He had tried the medicine prescribed by military doctors. Nothing had worked.
Now he had finally found something that did.
The problem was… How could he keep getting it?
When Cullen returned to the apartment he shared with his roommate, his roommate was playing games in the living room. Seeing him come back carrying several large bags, he casually asked, “Hey, you’re back from your business trip? What good stuff did you bring?”
Cullen set the bags on the dining table and tossed an apple to him.
“Try it.” His roommate caught the apple. Noticing it didn’t have a label, he looked a little curious.
As Cullen carried his things toward his room, he said, “A friend gave it to me. If you like it, I’ll bring you some more next time.”
He didn’t mention that the apple came from Tycoon Farm.
Some things were better kept to himself.
That night, Cullen lay on his bed, holding the bag of apples as he thought about how to divide them.
His parents both had weak mental power, so he had to save some for them.
He also needed to keep some for himself.
As for the rest… After thinking it over, he decided to take leave again next week and make another trip to Planet A001.
By the time Lawrence got home, it was already evening.
He was the oldest among the group. At forty–five years old, he had served in the Fifth Military for nearly twenty years. His chances of getting another promotion were almost zero.
When he arrived home, his wife was busy in the kitchen while their two children sat at the dining table
