Chapter 193 A Debauched Welcome
The group members wore barely anything, with their skin exposed and their moves provocative and alluring.
Below the screen, a line of stunningly attractive women in revealing outfits danced in perfect sync with the performance.
With the sinuous grace of a serpent, they rolled their hips, their eyes burning with a provocative heat calculated to ensnare any man who watched.
Men lounged on the sofas in small groups, eyeing Olivia like a lost rabbit wandering into a hunting ground, their gazes lewd and predatory.
They held cigars between their fingers, murmuring to one another.
At the center seat, Lucas reclined lazily on a leather sofa, his expression mocking and his aura casually intimidating.
Beside him, Weston carried himself with noble poise, mature and composed as he chatted with others.
The two men occupied the most important seats, clearly the ones in full control of the room.

Olivia’s heart plummeted. She tensed up and stepped back involuntarily.
“Olivia, you’re here. Liam told you what kind of clients we’re entertaining tonight, didn’t he?” Lucas spoke first, one eyebrow arched.
Olivia stood frozen in the middle of the room, her fingers curling tightly into fists, her breath catching in her throat.
Fighting back her rising panic, she forced a smile. “Mr. Hunt, he did. They’re Veridian Group’s top–tier VIP clients.”
Lucas praised her casually, his tone laced with subtle
manipulation, “Excellent. I knew Damian hadn’t made a mistake with you.
“I’m sure your professional code means you’ll do whatever benefits the company. Am I right?”
Olivia’s throat went dry. She squeezed her fists tighter to steady herself. “Yes, Mr. Hunt. Ever since Mr. Hall saved me that night and gave me a position at Veridian Group, I’ve sworn to uphold my duties, I’d give anything for the company and for him.”
“Perfect!” Lucas clapped his hands, his eyes shining with mock approval. “Be a good girl and do as you’re told tonight, and I’ll make sure you get a promotion, a raise, and double your bonus.”

up there?”
“Yes, Mr. Hunt.” Olivia stiffened even more.
Weston stepped forward then, a soft smile on his face that held no warmth, his words cutting like a knife. “These men are Veridian Group’s most valued clients. Mr. Hall gave strict orders that they must be thoroughly entertained–no mistakes allowed.”
At this point, he paused, his gaze fixed on her paling face. “You know better than anyone that no one defies Mr. Hall’s orders.”
Lucas leaned forward slightly, closing the distance between them until his lips were near her ear. His voice slithered into her head like a venomous snake.
“You claim to be devoted to Damian, to prove your loyalty to this job. Well, here’s your chance.”
Olivia’s heart sank. She feigned confusion, her eyes glistening with false innocence as she bit her lip.
“Mr. Hunt, what do you mean? I… I don’t understand.”
Acting innocent, just as Lucas expected,
If Damian had not uncovered her true background, he might have fallen for her innocent act, too.
