Her Tears Are His Weakness novel Chapter 132

"No one bullied you, and yet you're crying like this? Don't lie to me! Tell me who it is, and I'll beat the crap out of them!" Layla was so angry she ranted a string of harsh words, ready to throw some punches.

Samantha pouted pitifully. "I'm just starving. I want something to eat…"

"For real?" Layla asked.

"Yeah." Samantha nodded.

"Hold on, I'll go heat something up for you!" Layla dropped her bag of chips and rushed into the kitchen. She reheated some leftovers and handed the plate to Samantha. "Is this enough?"

"Yeah! Thanks, Layla." Samantha was starving. She dug in like she hadn't eaten in days. Even though it was just reheated leftovers, it tasted like a gourmet feast to her.

Now that she had eaten good food, the smile returned to her face. She no longer looked like a sad little thing.

Feeling sorry for her, Layla gave Samantha a gentle pat on the head. "Weren't you at your friend's party? What kind of lousy party doesn't even have food?"

"Exactly! I didn't even expect it to be this horrible. I'm never going again," Samantha said.

"Yeah, cut those people off! What a joke." Layla huffed.

Samantha giggled. Now that she was full, her mood had lifted too. As she put down her fork, she suddenly remembered something important. She said, "Layla, I'm… moving out tomorrow."

"You're moving?" Layla paused, and then it hit her. She slapped the table and shot up, eyebrows furrowed with anger. "Didn't you break up with him recently? And now you're all eager to move in with him? Are you stupid? You've totally lost your head over him!"

Samantha opened her mouth but couldn't come up with a better excuse. She thought it sounded ridiculous too, but she didn't want to tell Layla that Leonardo had threatened her.

Even if she and Layla teamed up, they still wouldn't stand a chance against Leonardo. Besides, she could never drag Layla into this, so she forced herself to say, "I still can't let him go."

"You love-struck idiot! That stuff messes people up! Wake up already, will you? I can't even deal with you!" Layla yelled in exasperation.

"I don't know what your boyfriend's size is. So I got large, extra-large, and extra-extra-large. There are even different flavored ones," Layla said.

"Just pick according to your liking. Just remember, if you're going to live with him, you need to take proper precautions. Don't end up getting pregnant, because you'll be the one paying the price. Got it?"

Samantha stared at the overwhelming array of condoms in front of her, her face turning bright red. She was too embarrassed to look at them. "Why did you buy these? I… I won't need them!"

"What do you mean you won't need them? You're so pretty, and it'll just be the two of you. Sparks are bound to fly. That bastard won't be able to control himself, even if you can!" Layla lectured.

"I don't want—" Samantha tried to argue.

"You have to! As the saying goes, it's better to be safe than sorry!" Layla cut her off. She stuffed the packs into Samantha's suitcase, ignoring the latter's protests. "You're taking them with you. If you leave them behind, I'll unfriend you!"

Samantha was speechless and had no choice but to give in. She thought to herself that once she got to Leonardo's place, she would find a way to get rid of the entire bag of condoms.
