Hired a Gigolo Got a Billionaire (Zoey and Christian) novel Chapter 350

Chapter 350

My heart was pounding so hard I was sure everyone in the mansion could hear it. I gathered the hem of my dress in one hand and held Ginger’s leash in the other as I walked down the hallway toward the room where Nate was getting ready.

held the test in her hands. Whatever those three minutes had red, I

I’d been carrying this secret since we got back from Solara, since that moment in the hotel bathroom when Zoey

decided to wait until today to tell

Mate.

Ginger walked beside me, her collar decorated with a small white ribbon Zoey had insisted on tying there. “If she’s going to witness the most important moment of your life, she needs to be dressed for the occasion,” Zoey had said.

I stopped in front of Nate’s door and took a deep breath. From inside, I could hear Oliver and Christian joking about his tie, followed by Nate’s laughter. My future husband. The man I would share all the years of my life with.

I knocked softly.

“Nate? Can I come in?”

“Annie?” His voice sounded surprised. “You’re not supposed to be here. The ceremony’s still an hour away.”

“I know. But I need to talk to you.’

“Can it wait?” he asked. “You know it’s bad luck for the groom to see the bride before-”

“Trust me,” I cut in, smiling despite my nerves. “Please?”

There was a pause, then footsteps. The door opened, revealing Oliver with an amused grin.

“I think this is my cue to leave,” he said, winking at me. “Good luck, sister-in-law.”

“You look incredible!” Christian added, giving me a quick, affectionate kiss on the cheek before following Oliver

out.

When I turned to Nate, the air left my lungs.

He looked flawless in his black tuxedo, tie perfectly set, hair neatly styled. But it was his expression that made me forget how to breathe. He had completely frozen. His green eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly open, like he was staring at something unreal.

“My God,” he murmured, his voice rough. “Annie… you’re-”

“Radiant?” I offered, trying to ease the charged silence.

“Perfect,” he said simply. “Absolutely perfect.”

We stood there staring at each other for a long moment, Ginger sitting patiently between us, until Nate finally shook his head like he was snapping out of a trance.

“Not that I don’t love seeing you like this, but…” He smiled nervously. “You know it’s bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony, right?”

“Impossible,” I said, taking a step closer, my heart racing with what I was about to reveal. “We’re never going to have bad luck again.”

“How can you be so sure?” he asked, brows knitting slightly, though he was still smiling.

“You know why?” I asked, my throat tightening.

“Why?”

stead of answering, I slowly placed my hand over my belly, thinking back to that morning in the hotel-to Zoey’s face when she looked at the result, to the joyful scream that had echoed through the room.

For a few seconds, Nate just stared at me, confused. Then I saw the exact moment it clicked. His eyes widened, dropped to my hand, lifted to my face, then fell back again.

“Annie,” he whispered, his voice barely there. “Are you saying that…?”

“Zoey and I couldn’t wait, so we took the test in Solara…” I said, tears starting to gather in my eyes. “All three of them were positive.”

What happened next felt like watching a movie in slow motion. Nate froze for a second, his mind clearly racing to catch up. Then, like a switch had been flipped, he moved.

In two quick steps, he was in front of me, his hands cupping my face with a tenderness that clashed with the urgency of the gesture.

“Really?” he asked, his eyes already shining with tears. “Are you sure?”

“Three tests, Nate. All positive,” I said, covering his hands with mine.

Then he kissed me. It was a desperate kiss full of joy and disbelief, like he needed proof that this wasn’t a dream. When we pulled apart, we were both crying.

“We’re going to have a baby,” he said, as if testing the words out loud.

“We’re going to have a baby,” I echoed, laughing through my tears.

Suddenly, Nate grabbed me by the waist and lifted me off the ground, spinning me in the air as he laughed with pure happiness. Ginger started wagging her tail wildly, clearly caught up in our joy.

“I love you,” he said, setting me back down but keeping his arms wrapped tightly around me. “I love both of you. I mean-three!” he corrected, glancing at Ginger.

“We love you too,” I said, resting my forehead against his.

“Wait,” Nate said suddenly, pulling back just a little. “I have news too.”

“Now?” I laughed, still trying to process my own confession.

“I got an email this morning,” he said, his eyes glowing in a way I’d never seen before. “We were approved in every step of the adoption process. We’re officially on the waiting list.”

My mouth fell open.

“Seriously?”

“Seriously. They said it could take a few months, maybe a year, but we’re officially in the system.”

“So…” I said slowly, trying to wrap my head around it all. “We’re going to have two babies at the same time?”

“Our family is going to be complete all at once,” Nate said, smiling so wide I thought his face might crack.

“Our family is finally going to be complete,” I corrected, a deep sense of peace settling in my chest.

“And it all starts today,” he said, kissing my forehead.

“It all starts now,” I agreed.

Nate pulled me into another kiss. This one was softer, steadier, filled more with promise than urgency. When we pulled apart, Ginger was sitting beside us, her tail wagging at an almost impossible speed, as if she knew she was witnessing the moment our lives changed forever.

“Ready to marry me?” Nate asked, wiping a tear from my cheek.

“More than ready,” I said. “Ready to start our family.”

“Then let’s go,” he said. “Our future is waiting for us.”
