Marcus starts sweating and shaking and I know his heart must be racing but still, he tries to mask it, knowing how scared he is just adding to the enjoyment now, thinking back to how scared my girl must have been the day he attacked her pack.

How much she must have been scared realising she was alone with a 6-month-old baby, seeing her whole family and pack wiped out and that’s without how scared she must have felt knowing he wanted to make her his Luna, was hunting her down, f**k! He needs to suffer and by f**k he will and it will be long and painful!

“Marcus, you are here today to face the punishment for the crimes you have committed. you planned and executed the s*******r of an entire pack including your own family to gain the Alpha title when you have no blood or legal ties to it. You also lead this attack under false pretences, telling the people that would help you a bunch of lies.”

“You then proceed with a plan of k********g Bethany, my Luna’s sister with the intention of forcing her to become your Luna, when that failed you moved on to another plan which included you trying to destroy my Beta’s life. Marcus looks scared and I can see it in his eyes that he knows that this is over, he knows he’s f****d up one too many times and now he will pay. Steps sound out from behind me and I turn to find Bethany walking towards us, her face stone cold and full of hatred.

“You took away my family, Brooke’s family, Bella’s, I’ll never understand why you’ve done everything you have; you had a good life but you choose to destroy it and for what? Where has it got you? That’s right tied up and about to die knowing you will leave your mate to suffer for months from a torn bond and that you’ll never see or hold your pup, your baby that you should be here to protect but instead that baby will be raised by someone else!”

My girl is showing incredible strength when I know inside, she’s falling apart from reliving all the pain-filled memories of what that bastard has caused. She looks him dead in the eyes the entire time she speaks to him and soon enough his scared and feared look turns to that of hatred and anger.

“They all deserved it every one of them, they were all below me as is everyone here! You can kill me but it doesn’t matter because my name will go down in history!”

“After today no one will breathe your name again, you won’t be remembered, you’ll be forgotten like the insect you are!” She grits her teeth as she speaks to him and I know she’s close to losing her s**t but I’m not about to stop her, she’s safe no one can hurt her and she’s free to do whatever the f**k she wants to him.

“you’ll always remember me, Bethany, you’ll always wonder how it would have been, being my Luna, being at my side while we ruled over a pack. You’ll always wonder how it would have been when we finally mated and marked each other and the joy my c**k would have brought you!” Before anyone can react Jonah lets out an earth-shattering growl and it takes everything I have in me to hold him back.

“LET ME OUT LIAM, I’M GOING TO TEAR HIS c**k APART!” He’s seething and so am I.

“Not yet, Jonah, we will get our turn don’t worry but right now Bethany needs to say whatever is on her mind, we need to let her have her moment so please calm down. I need to concentrate on keeping her safe rather than holding you In!” He’s not happy about it but he agrees and retreats to the back of my head.

A scream quickly brings me back to the situation, it’s Marcus, his face is bright red as he screams like a baby, I step forward to find my girl has cupped hold of his crouch, her nails digging in as she squeezes hard and then twists her wrist and his scream reaches new levels. “YOU WON’T EVER GET TO TOUCH ANYONE WITH THIS THING AGAIN MARCUS!” She bellows out to him in his face while she continues to squeeze harder, still slowly twisting while the look of pure agony on his face brings a huge smile to mine and Calvins and soon enough Bethany’s too.

Before anything else can happen, we’re all distracted by the sound of growls and hear footsteps coming from the edge of the forest, the noises get louder and closer and I see every one of our warriors instantly get ready to fight, both I and Cal are ready and waiting, we get ready to lunge when faces start appearing out of the tree line, hands in the air as I quickly count 20 heads.

“We mean no harm to you or your pack Alpha, Calvin, we are from the moonshine pack, my name is Thomas Randle I am the Gamma to the pack, we spoke on the phone!” Every one of them bows their head in respect to Calvin while keeping their arms in the air a sign of respect and no danger wanted.

“I know who you are, Gamma Thomas, what are you doing here?” Calvin relaxes his stance and I soon follow but I’ve already sent out a mass link to our warriors to stay guarded.

“Are you really that dull, they are here to save me you assholes, here to save their Alpha!” Marcus laughs out, this guy is f*****g insane! Bethany digs in her nails more causing an ear-piercing scream to leave his mouth and a laugh to leave hers. That’s my girl!

“Bethany come here sweetheart!” I hold out my hand to her and thank the f*****g stars she takes my hand and comes to stand by my side without any hesitation. She had her moment to inflict pain on him but I can’t bear another moment of her hand anywhere near that bastard’s c**k!
