Cal leans over and places her in the arms of a very emotional Ashley, neither he nor Jack can say a word, Jack wraps one arm around Ashley and places his other hand gently on the baby’s back, he looks up to Calvin but he’s speechless, Ashley to and I’d be lying if I said there was a dry eye in the room including the Alpha’s!

“Meet your daddies, baby girl!” He gently whispers to her before taking a step back with a proud smile!

“We’ll give you some time, we’ll be in the lounge!” Calvin nods our way and everyone gets up quietly, no one speaks we’re all too busy taking in this incredible moment, everyone heads for the lounge until there’s only me, Calvin, Brooke and Alpha John left, as we get to the kitchen door Cal stops and turns around to face the new family.

“Jack, Ashley, Before I leave, I just want to say this isn’t a command, I have a plan b if this isn’t what you guys want, no one would judge either of you!” Neither of them looks up to us, neither of them has taken their eyes off her or moved since Cal handed her over.

“Get out!” Is all we hear come from Jack, more like a silent f**k off if you ask me. A chuckle leaves all of our lips and we quickly leave and reach the lounge seconds later. The moment the lounge door closes everyone bursts out in chatter.

“Calvin that was without a doubt the right decision, for both baby girl and them!” I’m quick to speak up.

“Honestly it was an easy decision, I knew the day we found out about her that she would go to them but I still wanted to make sure I explored all opinions for her but nothing else came close to the life they will give her, how much they will love her, and the family she will grow up in with us around!”

“I agree, they have always spoken about wanting children and with the engagement, this is perfect for them!”

“Before I forget I want to give Jack some time off, they weren’t expecting this they need time to adjust and bond and find their own way and routine so I’m going to need you more in the next couple of weeks, I was thinking we can split his workload so he doesn’t have to worry!”

“Of course, brother, we’ve got him covered, he needs time to bond with his daughter, f**k his daughter…that’s crazy to say!” Before Cal can say anymore the door opens and in steps Jack and Ashley with baby girl curled into Jack’s arm, sleeping, looking so peaceful, looking like it’s exactly where she belongs.

The moment Calvin stopped in front of me and Ashley and smiled, I knew exactly what he was going to do and I swear my f*****g heart stopped! Tears laced my eyes as reality set in, my hand covering my mouth holding in the screams I wanted to release.

Ashley was doing the exact same thing, I could feel his emotions and I knew he was feeling everything I was but still, I didn’t want to let myself believe it was going to happen but then Calvin slowly placed her into the crock of Ashley’s arm and my world came to a complete stop.

I can hear muffled voices around us but I haven’t got a clue what they are saying, out of the corner of my eyes I can see feet moving towards the door but I have no interest in looking up to see what going on, my eyes are glued on the little blonde hair blue eyed baby girl that’s staring back me. “We’re not giving her back are we Jack?” Ashley takes his eyes off her for the first time since he was handed her, he looks at me with worried eyes, I can see he’s already in love with her and he’s not the only one!

“Do you want to?”

“No, I love her already, I don’t care who her blood parents were, I want her!”

“Good because I will tear apart anyone who tries to take her away from us!” He instantly looks relieved.

“So, we’re doing this? We’re going to be daddies?” He asks with so much hope that it pulls at my heart!

“Yes, we are, were really doing this!” He’s instantly beaming as am I.

“We need to name her!” As much as it’s been cute calling her baby girl that’s not going to work forever.

“How about Willow?” My heart stops beating for a second at hearing the name and the tears that I managed to chase away quickly reappear! Ashley gives my hand a gentle squeeze, helping calm me.

“Are you sure?”

“Of course, she definitely looks like a Willow!”
