His Mate, His Girlfriend (Love and Ellis) novel Chapter 134

Chapter 134

Unknown

I was banished by the vampire king, my twin brother after he learned of my plan to overthrow him. He didn’t deserve such a mighty throne. I did. However, he came out of our mother’s womb minutes before me, so I had to give the throne up. I burned with jealousy on the day of his coronation, but I had to keep it together. I had to tread carefully, or I’d be dead. My brother wasn’t ambitious like I was. He wanted things as they were … He wanted peace with other supernaturals, but war was inevitable as we were natural enemies. Soon, someone would strike, and I wanted to be the first to do so. So, I made a plan to kill him and his lineage. Unfortunately, I was caught as one of my most trusted men betrayed me. I ran away from the coven before the day of my trial.

I gathered a group of vampires who believed in my vision for a greater future for vampires. I built my coven and made it strong. As years went by, I made my fledglings. I had planned not only to take the crown from my brother but also to destroy the shifters.

However, there was a delay in my plans when the elder lycan council killed my beloved. They caught us ransacking a human village. We were going to turn them into vampires. To give them a gift of immortality. As the council chased us, they caught my mate and some of my best vampires. They tortured them for days in hopes they would tell them my plans, but they remained loyal to my vision. They eventually killed them publicly. I watched as they killed them by the stake. My mate’s screams still plagued me.

I vowed to take my revenge on each one of the lycan elders, along with their precious packs. However, to do that, I needed a unique seer. There was a prophecy of a wolf-born oracle. They would possess the power to foresee the future. There were gifted wolves in the realm, like the Altamirano bloodline, but none could predict the future.

For me to succeed and be the supreme ruler, I needed the power of the oracle. I will be invincible once I attain such power.

It had been decades since my search for the seer, but I hadn’t found them yet.

After doing a locator spell, my dark witch told me that the oracle was hiding amongst the packs. Nonetheless, no exact location was pinpointed. So, I disguised myself and searched through packs to no avail.

While searching for the seer, I came across an insufferable alpha, Maleck. He was the bastard grandson of Christina Carter, one of the elder council members who killed my beloved. I decided to approach him with a proposition. He wanted to kill Alpha Ellis Carter and be alpha, so I supported him through money and connections. We made a deal to team up, and when the time came, he would offer me his army since vampires couldn’t go out in the sun without getting burnt.

Speaking of the devil, the alpha barged into the office. I flared in anger at the intrusion,

“I’m getting impatient. Ellis hasn’t been summoned by the council for the death of two members. We need to launch an attack against his pack,” The puny alpha boomed. The man was desperate to get his cousin out of the

way.

“Patience. We shall kill him soon, or better yet, why don’t you draw him out and kill him? It’s easier that way,” I told him. Maleck seemed to be in thought. He had a sinister glint in his eyes as a smile crossed his face,

“That’s a brilliant plan, but we must taste the waters first. I will launch a minor attack on his border to assess their security and warriors,” he said. As a good strategist, I helped him devise the plan of attack.

I remained with my advisor, Sensor, after Maleck left the office. He watched me with a frown on his thin lips, his eyebrows furrowed in irritation.

My lord, why are you not killing Maleck and taking over his pack?” he asked. Just like me, he was getting

infuriated with Maleck. If I didn’t need him, he’d be dead already. I required them to recruit more rogues, and shifters couldn’t obey a vampire.

We need him to recruit rogues if we are to launch a big attack against the shifter realm,”

“Are we attacking the packs first or the coven?” he asked, looking at the plan on the projector. It had been in the works for years.

“We are not attacking the coven, you moron. We are only killing my brother and his children,” I sneered. I hated my brother’s children. They took me further from the line of succession. I knew exactly how to hurt my dear brother. I’d go after his children. I had already put a target on his daughter’s back because she was out of the vampire royal territory and into one of the lycan packs.

“Our attack against the packs will start with the Sapphire Royal Lycan Pack. That’s why we are creating a large and powerful army. Once, I had the wolf oracle in my grasp. They will not see it coming as I would be too powerful to stop once I steal her power,” I explained patiently. I planned to attack the royal lycan pack first. That was the pack of the lycan king, Leondre Lavista, and his wife, the white wolf, Queen Anaiah Altamirano. However, they are training their heir son to take over. If I could take down such a powerful pack, the others would follow with no problem.

I couldn’t wait to have the seer’s gifts. I would be able to detect my enemies’ moves. The war was mine to win.

The door to my office opened again, and my third in command, Shona walked in. She removed the black cloak covering her head, and I saw an ear-splitting grin.

Shona was holding an envelope in her hands. She put it on the table, and I checked the contents. They were pictures. I smirked and glanced at Shona.
