Tina POV

“I heard Aiden is back, Tina.” My mother said.

“Really? Okay, I will go visit him tomorrow after breakfast.” I said smiling.

I have been trying my hardest to get Aiden to accept me for the last year. I wear all the right things, I stay compliant, I carry myself with sophistication. Just like my mother taught me. I am educated and talented. I treat everyone respectfully.

My mother knows my dream of becoming Luna of a powerful pack. When we heard about Aiden not having found his mate six years ago, we decided to move here. A handsome, powerful Alpha that is wealthy, kind to his pack and works alongside his pack. He is textbook perfect as an Alpha. Since finding out about him, I decided to learn everything I could about Blackstone and geology. I figured he would want a knowledgeable Luna by his side. Then once I am secured as his Luna, I could elevate my family’s standing. They have good standing now as warriors, but I want more than a warrior status.

Even though I can fight, I don’t put the effort into being a warrior. Alpha’s like their Lunas to be soft, poised, and standing by all their decisions. They need a woman with a great body that can produce an heir.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind producing several heirs for Aiden. He is gorgeous. His black hair, blue eyes, and sculpted body could make any woman have fantasies about what he is like in bed. I’m determined to be the one he wants by his side.

I nod and make my way to my room. I walk over to my vanity and start taking off my hair clips and wiping the makeup from my face. I look at the picture I have of Aiden on the mirror vanity and start daydreaming. I grab his picture and kiss his face.” Soon, I will be your Luna, Aiden. It’s only a matter of time.” I whispered before heading for the shower and then going to bed right after.

The next morning, as planned, I go to visit Aiden. I knocked on the door and walked in when Aiden said ‘come in.’

“Alpha Aiden, welcome back. How was your trip?”

“What do you need, Tina?” He said abruptly.

“I heard that things may not have gone well for you over the weekend. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help cheer you up.”

“If I think of anything, I will let you know. I’m very busy at the moment. If you don’t mind, please close the door behind you on your way out.” He said.

He has never been this cold to me. I try testing the waters, “Perhaps when you are done with work, we could have dinner together tonight.”

“No, thank you.” He said quickly.

Just as I was about to try to persuade him, his brother Reid, comes in. “Hey bro, oh, am I interrupting?”

“Nope. Tina was just leaving.” Aiden said and he didn’t even look up or say goodbye.

I left quietly and stood by the door after it closed.

“Damn, Aiden, that was harsh. Not that I care about Tina, but you didn’t even look at her.” Reid said.

“I only have eyes for my mate, Reid. I need to figure out how to help her.” Aiden replied.

“We have been working for you to become Luna of this pack for six years, Tina. Do you really want to walk away with nothing?” She began, “If he brings that woman here, you lose your chance. You wanted to be Luna, right? Well, you are going to have to make some decisions.

I look at her and realize she is right. I have worked for six years to get him to notice me. It never bothered me to wait before because he hadn’t found his mate. Hell, he hardly left the pack. I thought eventually, I would wear him down. He is going to need an heir eventually, and I would have offered myself up at that point. But now, circumstances have changed.

“You’re right. But how will I be able to seduce him, mom? I mean it when I say he all but physically threw me out of his office.”

“We will find a way. Continue trying to spend time with him. I will think of something.” She said.

“Okay, mom.” I said, still feeling uneasy about this plan.
