Rebel POV
I haven’t been able to talk to Adrian alone about him becoming an Alpha. I know all the men have been slapping his shoulder and saying it’s time. I know my son, though. As soon as I asked, I saw the overwhelmed look in his eyes. He feels the pressure.
“It’s exciting, Mom.”
“Yes, change can be exciting. It can also be stressful in good and bad ways. How are you taking it?” I asked.
“Honestly, I haven’t given it much thought yet. I’ve been too busy with everything going on here that I really haven’t had time to wrap my head around it, Mom.”
“Sinclair is going to be your Luna.”
“She should be a Luna. She carries herself like one, even if she doesn’t see it,” he said confidently.
“You carry yourself like an Alpha, even if you don’t see it, Adrian. It’s not just in your bloodline; it’s also in your character.”
The tips of his ears turned pink. He doesn’t believe what I’m saying, and it’s embarrassing him.
“I don’t know about all that, Mom.”
I stopped and made my son look at me. “You have had hard times, Adrian. Despite everything, you’ve never hurt people. You’ve carried yourself with grace, and you tried to be fair. Being Alpha isn't always about being a beast or being ruthless,” I said and then continued. “The man has to be fair, empathic, sympathetic, and kind at the right moments. You have the power to release your beast. The restraint you show is what will make pack members respect you in the future. They will know you are serious when the beast comes out, and they will know that it is your last resort.”
“What if they think I’m weak?”
“Then show them you are not. There will be times you have to be decisive. Other times you will be lenient. It will depend on the situation. You have had three alphas that you have learned from, Adrian. Reid is a good and fair Alpha. Aiden is, too, but no one messes with his family or pack members. The beast is released if someone tries. Then there is your father. Well, you grew up following your father around. He loved hard. He fought hard. He protected even harder. You have everything you need, and at the same time, you are still not alone. You have everything you need, except confidence in yourself, my son.”
We get to the training facility, and Angelo is waiting. I smiled, and then I said, “That kid comes here every day fighting to be good enough, strong enough, and he is starting from nothing. You are going to fight every day for the same things soon, Adrian. The difference is you have family and a mate who loves you more than her own life. Give yourself some grace.”
Adrian’s face seemed to relax after our talk. “Thanks, Mom. I needed to hear all of that.”
“You’re welcome. Now, time to use you as the demonstration tool.”
He groaned, and I chuckled.

Sinclair POV
Kaia, Thalia, Navy, and Rory are all helping with the last of the arrangements to the last side of the pack borders. We are laughing and carrying on. Adrian isn’t with us, but Dad, Aiden, Isaiah, Reid, and Jonah are, and the girls are catcalling their mates, while Dad and I laugh at the embarrassed look on their faces.

What happened to the storyline? After Chp 100 it is a completely different story! This is terrible!...
So many missing chapters and repetitions. A different story altogether from chapter 101...
