Adrian POV
We finally got a moment to ourselves. I wasted no time claiming my delicious mate. I have been wanting her for days, and she has been exhausted. If she weren’t still on birth control, I would swear she was pregnant again. Nothing would make me happier, but the timing is too close to this damn war.
Right as we both collapse, I pull her to me. “I never get enough of you, Little Sin.”
She is breathing hard and smiling into my chest. “I never get enough of you. It’s crazy, but every time we finish, my body starts demanding more.”
I smiled widely. “Is that right?” I asked as I flipped her onto her stomach. I started massaging her shoulders all the way down to the small of her back. When she moaned softly, I chuckled. “Does that feel good?”
Sinclair sighed. “Yes, really good.”
I massaged her butt cheeks, right to the top of the back of her thighs. I squeezed, and she gasped. Well, I just learned another place that turns my mate on. I do it again, just to be sure.
“Adrian,” she said breathily.
I growled low in my chest. As much as we have been together, I still love it when I find a new spot that does things to her. I keep massaging her body all the way down to her feet. She is still moaning.
She's been doing so much lately, and she's already done more than her share of prep for this war. Once I am done giving her a massage, I lay down next to her and run the tips of my fingers down her spine slowly and lightly. I see her body shiver and goosebumps appear. I smiled. She’s mine, and I’m thankful the Moon Goddess gave me another shot at having a happy life with my mate.
Sinclair turns her head to me. “Are you nervous?”
“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t, Little Sin. I feel like we are ready, though.”
“Not quite. I need to check the passageways.”
“Passageways?”
“Yeah, in case we need them. I haven’t checked them in a while.”
“Why didn’t I know about these?” I asked.
Sinclair gave me a lazy smile. “I’m the only one who knows about them. I created them before you ever became beta. Before we found out we were mates.”
I started thinking back. I remember chasing Sinclair, and then she disappeared and was in the dining hall.
“Is that how you evaded me in the beginning? That day I saw you crying on that tree stump?”
Sinclair laughed quietly. “Yeah. I was so embarrassed to be caught crying. Especially by you. I didn’t have it in me to explain myself to you while I looked like a sobbing mess.”

What happened to the storyline? After Chp 100 it is a completely different story! This is terrible!...
So many missing chapters and repetitions. A different story altogether from chapter 101...
