Chapter 120: An unexpected pick up

CURRENTLY BEING EDITED

SPECIAL POV: TONY’S POV

Every weekend mum and I were doing an activity together and just having fun. One day mum had us spend the weekend with him at an F1 racing tournament. I thought it was going to be like all the times we would have spend the day and then go home afterward.

Imagine my surprise the next day when I woke up and found myself and my mother in Louis’ home. My mother explained to me that she was divorcing Dad and that we were going to be staying with Louis for a little while. Until we found a new house.

She explained that our house was no longer safe because of Diana. Though I didn’t understand the situation completely I did trust my mother. Besides, I didn’t mind. I liked Louis, he seemed like a cool person and his house was nice.

I was assigned a driver who drove me to school every day and I also had two bodyguards. Mum said they were for my protection. Everything was good at the new place and seemed to be going well.

That is however, until Louis unfortunately found out about my secret. When Mum went to the hospital to see her friends, Victoria and Mike on the Saturday morning. She told told she would be back in the afternoon. I was doing my homework in my room. When Louis came to check on me.

"Hey, little man what’s up?" he asked me upon entering my room.

"Hey, Louis," I greeted him as he got closer to me.

"Doing your homework?" he asked me.

"Yeah," replied. "I want to finish it now before mum gets back."

I then looked down at my desk and my eyes widened in surprise as

I had forgotten that I had one of my current ’victim’s’ exercise books’ on the table. I planned to rip it up and throw it in the trash but hadn’t gotten to it yet. Immediately, I tried to hide the book underneath my other books.

"What are you hiding?" Louis asked me having noticed and drew closer to me.

"Nothing!" I answered suspiciously.

He then quickly snatched the book from under the papers and I tried to cover it with.

"No, don’t look I tried to grab stand up and grab it back from him but he simply lifted it higher

"Mmhmm," he said as he checked the cover of the book. "I don’t think your name is Stephen, is it?"

Stephen wasn’t part of Zeke’s group but he was someone who had to insult me by saying my mum had done something. He said something about my mother punching Diana in the face. Now I didn’t know the story but I bet it was another lie that they always saying about my mum.

"Why do you have someone else’s book?" he asked.

"Please don’t tell mum," I begged him. She would be do disappointed in me if she found out.

He grinned as he looked down at me. "I won’t if you explain to me what this is about."

A sad expression appeared on my face. With no choice, I told him everything. About how I was being made fun of and mum was being insulted. How I couldn’t fight back because they all came from important families. And how mum told me not to.

He sat down on my bed and listened to me.

I then explained how I wanted to get back at them and thought of a way to do it without getting in trouble.

When I was done explaining it all to him he then burst out laughing. "That’s so smart really," he said in between laughs.

My eyes widened surprised by his reaction.

"You’re really an interesting character. Would hate to have you as my enemy," he continued laughing. "You don’t let anyone get away with messing your mum do you?"

"Of course not! I won’t allow anyone to insult her!" I said angrily.

His eyes softened as he looked at me."Youre sweet kid," he said.

"So, is my secret is safe with you?" I asked worriedly.

"Sure, but there’s something else you need to do for me," he said.

"What is it?" I asked feeling like I’d been tricked.

"Are you almost done with your homework?" he then asked.

I nodded in response.
