Chapter 135: Elevator meetup

When I arrived home I found Diana already asleep in the bed. I was glad she was already asleep because I after what I did at the event I wouldn’t know how to talk to her.

JASMINE’S POV

In the following days Louis had me visit each of the restaurants to discuss the new menu idea I had suggested with the chefs and managers.

I explained it to them and asked for their feedback.

The chefs and managers from all the chains seemed open to the idea. The chefs agreed that it would lighten the workload and be better for them to provide all that they said they would interested in developing a new menu.

I left them with the task of planning their own menu ideas. One of the chefs brought up the idea that the new menu items should consist of good dishes that consisted of the cheapest high-quality products. That way quality could be provided even more cheaply.

They all agreed that within a few days they would each have a draft menu ready.

I expected they to need more time but apparently it wouldn’t take them long. I suppose this was their expertise I thought to myself. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

And of course when I went to the restaurant I used to work at I made special greetings to Mike, Megan and the manager.

After I was done making my rounds I then began to make my way back to the Garden House HQ.

The little excursion had lifted my spirits greatly considering the fact that the day before I had received an email from the court of family affairsontaining documents that Keith gone on to file for joint custody of Tony and to have my request for a contested divorce denied. I can’t believe Keith is actually serious about this. It added on to the pressure I already felt to find proof that Tony would be safe around him and Diana.

So it was really nice to go back to my old workmates aswell share an idea that might help the restaurant. The next step was to organize for all the head chefs to meet after their menu drafts were ready and discuss and which dishes would be included in the final menu.

When I returned to the HQ I planned to report everything to Louis in his office. I made my way up to the top floor in the elevator, there was another person in the elevator, it stopped and they got off. The elevator stopped again and another person entered. My eyes widened as I saw it was Louis.

For a moment we were frozen still, as our eyes focused on each other for a moment. Then a mischievous grin appeared on his face and he got closer to me and pushed me backward.

" Jasmine," he said as he pinned me onto the back the wall of the elevator. His arms went on either side of me

"Louis," I breathed out.

"Back from the restaurants?" he asked me.

The more I was with Louis the more I wanted to tease him. The way he looked at me always tickled something inside me. He always looked at me like he was obsessed with me. I wanted to see him yearn for me more. It got me excited.

"Okay, I will have all the department managers informed," Ms Deepak confirmed.

Upon arriving home I greeted and talked to Tony for a little bit. He went off to do his homework whilst I went to the kitchen and got started on dinner. Hiring a chef was a bit A moment later the intercom rang. I went to it and saw it was Louis from the camera.

"Louis what are you doing here?" I asked him upon answering the machine. After avoiding him for the rest of the afternoon after

"I came to help you go through the Diana files. He told me.

My eyebrow raised in suspicion. "Sure," I replied. I then let him in.

When he entered my apartment he handed me a large box of exquisite chocolates and wine.

"No flowers this time?" I joked.

"No, I thought to change things up a bit wouldn’t want you to live in a botanical garden," he told me.
