JASMINES POV
"Please, if you could come with me to the Carrington HQ, Mrs Acland," Vincent said to me as he pointed towards the car he had come in.
"First of all, it’s Ms Towers," I corrected Vincent.
I then looked at my bodyguards standing clientse behind me. "And I will go to the Carrington HQ," I started. "but with my own vehicle." I needed space move around with my bodyguard.
Vincent skeptically eyed the vehicle I was referring to nearby.
"Please, don’t worry. I won’t run away." I assured him. "You’ll find me another time anyway, so I would rather settle this now."
From, the message I had seen on Louis’ phone it seemed this was a recurring issue. It was unavoidable and I technically couldn’t refuse to see Robert. He was also kind of my boss.
"Very well then, Ms Towers. Follow my car to the Carrington HQ he said," Vincent said.
"Does Louis know about this by the way?" I then asked.
"He will be informed, yes," Vincent answered.
After getting inside our cars we made the way to the Carrington HQ. I thought about Louis as we made our way. What would he think of this?
Upon arriving at the Carrington HQ which was located in completely different area of the city center from the Garden House HQ. About a 30-minute drive from each other due to traffic and Yorkshire was a big city after all.
As Vincent led me inside the massive skyscraper as my eyes darted around as they took in the magnificent size of the building. It was so much bigger than the garden house HQ. Probably close in size and structucture to the Acland HQ. We got in the elevator and he took me to the top floor.
My eyes continued looking around, taking in the HQ as I followed Vincent.
Then suddenly from the corner soneone walked past me and bumped into them. My body hit a hard surface and moments later the sound of something hitting the ground sounded in the air. My absent minded eyes eyes averted to the floor to find a bunch of folders and files that had been
I then looked at the person whom I had bumped into and found a woman
"Oh my gosh, I’m so soryy," I apologized realizing I had been distracted. I then knelt to pick up the folders I had made her drop.
"No, it’s alright, I wasn’t looking either," the woman said as she knelt to pick the dropped files as well.
"Here," I said as I handed her some of the dropped files and picked up some more.
I looked at her and immediately paused in surprise. I realized I knew this woman. I’d never talked to her before, though. Greenish brown eyes, and dark brown hair.
There was no mistaking it. It was Louis’s wife from my past life. For a moment I stared at her in disbelief. So she works in the Carrington HQ? That’s how they met probably. She looked to be between 22 and 24 years old and absolutely beautiful. Though I knew her I had never talked to her before. Just that she would marry Louis.
