Husband you've abandoned me Fine I'll focus on raising my son novel Chapter 179

Chapter 179: Turn around

My aide then coughed nervously. "And we have another problem," he started.

"What is it?" I prodded him to go further.

"Our staff spies at the young Master’s school report that he has been speaking to Ms Towers son recently."

My body stiffened for a moment and my eyes narrowed as I processed the information he had given me. "That boy...." the words left my mouth. After all the instructions I had given him explicitly NOT to speak with him. He knows the risks yet he would play around? Why?

This changed everything.

"Does Diana know about this?" I asked.

"No, not to my knowledge sir," she hasn’t reported anything to anyone.

"Of course she doesn’t. The fucking idiot. Only thing good about her is her body it seems," I said in an unamused tone.

"What do you suggest we do?" my aide asked.

I had a bad feeling about what the boys’ interactions may have been about.

Then there was Jasmine who was going to figure everything out soon at this rate. As I brought my hands up to my to my chin, contemplating my next steps. Right now the weakest link to my efforts to cover up my tracks was Diana...

"Looks, like I have no choice," I started. "Call all the servants on our side we having working in Keith’s estate I have instructions for them. Also clear my afternoon schedule so I can visit Marco’s make sure Diana’s bodyguards are the one."

"Yes sir," my aide accepted the order. "And what should we tell Ms Rockford? You had planned for her to carry out sonething in regards to Ms Towers last time." my aide asked.

"Oh that?" I said recalling what I had initially told her about poisoning Jasmine herself. " Tell her I’ll actually handle it myself. I’ll contact her soon anyway."

I was going to have to change plans again.

KEITHS POV

Edward stared at me rather curiously as I signed some papers for him.

My face was partially swollen and purple.

"May I ask what happened to you, sir?" he asked me.

"No," I curtly responded.

Edwards face dropped at my answer. Everyone at the office had been staring at me. I ignored their stares and acted normal. Don’t even get me started on Diana’s reaction when I arrived home that Sunday afternoon.

That Carrington boy had gotten a few hits on me and my face. It pissed me off thinking about it. That boy got under my skin beyond belief. And he did on purpose too. When he came whilst I was talking to Jasmine put his arm around her just so I would see. Him talking a good game so he could get me to fight him. Trying to rile me up.

I continued doing some paperwork at my desk when there was a ring at my office door.

The camera showed it was my lawyers. I buzzed them in and they entered, making their way to my desk. I immediately stood up.

"Gentlemen, please let’s sit in my lounge area and get comfortable," I stopped them from approaching and directed them toward the lounge.

Once we were seated we began our discussion.

"Chairman Acland, as you already know we would like to continue our discussion on your upcoming hearing. We want to go over

"Yes," I agreed as I looked at their paperwork.

I expected this trial to be a breeze. Once Jasmine presented her nonsensical filing, the judge would surely, and obviously, quickly side with me. I don’t know why she was so adamant to continue with it when it made no sense.

"Now say it again, and do it exactly like I said," I gave him one more chance,

His lips curved into a smile and his eyes widened to give the illusion of excitement. "I’m going to have a sibling, Mum?" he repeated the sentence I had said to hi
