JASMINE’S POV
"Touch me again, and I’ll bite your balls off, Keith," I screamed at him. How dare he pin me down like that?
I didn’t care about his bodyguards or what they might do to me for touching him, nor did I care what he did to me. I was going to continue to fight against him. I was still thoroughly pissed he was forcing me to go along with his plan, regardless I did have to find Tony.
His blue eyes slowly met mine, and I made eye contact, ready to take him on. Once again took the slap. Much to my surprise, he didn’t say anything, just took it as his cheek began to turn red. Why? I asked myself.
He then gave me space and backed away from me, and sat on the side of the bed.
After an awkward silence, his lips parted. "We’ll continue talking tomorrow after you rest," he told me.
My rage-filled eyes glared at him.
"Let me ask you one thing, Keith, once we find Tony, what are you going to do with us?" I asked, wondering what his long-term plan was.
He blinked slowly before looking away from me. "We will talk about it once we find him." That was all he said in an unconvincing voice.
I scoffed as I looked away from him. Refusing to give me a clear answer just told me that he wasn’t planning on letting me go easily.
He then got up from the bed and walked away. I he was making his way to the exit, but he picked up the pillows I had thrown at him earlier. He then returned to me and placed them on the bed.
I flinched as he neared me. He ignored my resistance to his closeness and put the pillows at my feet.
"Goodnight, Jasmine," he said.
I glared at him but didn’t say anything in response.
He then simply walked out of the room. A loud sigh of relief came over me at the sound of the door closing behind him. Moments later, the door opened again, and my guard tensed up again. I saw it was a servant who
I felt bad that I was making the servant work unnecessarily. I got into the wheelchair that was beside the bed and went towards the windows of the room.
A conservatorship, I thought to myself in frustration. My eyes looked at the estate courtyards below. How do I even fight against that? Everything Kieht was doing to me was technically legal, and that’s what made it so horrifying. As my guardian, he could keep me under his watch for ’safety’.
Even keeping my phone away from me wasn’t illegal. It wasn’t right to have a phone, and since he was my guardian, he could take away my possessions.
