CHAPTER CURRENTLY BEING EDITED
Shortly after we were done she then helped me in the wheelchair and took me to out of my room.
As usual we passed the bodyguards outside my room and one accompanied Nurse Anne and I.
I noticed near my bedroom was another set of double doors which looked like the entrance to another bedroom.
"Is that a bedroom?" I asked Anne.
"Yes, it's Mr Aclands room, ma'am," she informed. A disgusted expression formed on my face.
He was decent enough to give me my own room but he still too close to mine. Perhaps he wanted to keep a close eyes on me.
As we made our way outside the estate my eyes scanned the property trying to get a good visual map of the place. The first thing that struck out to me were there were so many cameras almost in every section. Keith had told me about this as a security measure. This would be a problem if I tried to escape.
There were few staff and but multiple guards bodyguards in different.
I took note of where the gate was located and how the estate grounds were, as Anne pushed me around.
"Mrs Acland, Mr Acland would like to see you in a sitting room near your rooms the servant informed me.
After a while Anne and I returned to the mansion. She put me in the sitting room and I waited for him. I waited for him to arrived and he walked in.
When my eyes met his I couldn't hide the frown on my face as he walked in.
"I heard you were had an asthma attack this morning are you okay?" He asked me as he walked in.
"I'm fine," I told him through gritted teeth.
I bit my lip as I told myself to try to speak civilly with him. This was for Tony. I reminded myself.
"You're not going to work today?" I asked him. It was a Tuesday and he had been at the estate the day before as well.
"I had to meet with the police this morning and give them a statement on your behalf," he told me. "But I will go later today," he explained as he sat down on the seat opposite mine.
My lips pressed into a thin line as I looked at him.
I also received files from the police from your bodyguards in recent days.
"How are they?" I asked wondering how my bodyguards were doing. They had done their best to protect Tony and I. With the shock of finding out Keith was keeping me I hadn't immediately thought of them the day before.
"They are fine mostly woken up to my knowledge. The Carrington boy is handling their care now," he told me.
A scoff escaped from my mouth at that.
