"No!" I said realising what he was doing but I was too late. He put the tape over my mouth.
My uncle then stood up and the bodyguard who stood nearby was holding a camera in his hands.
"Take as many as you can,"my uncle instructed him.
The bodyguard then began to take pictures of me with the camera. My eyes blinked in shock from the bright flash of the lights. I began to struggle trying to free myself again but the rope was too tight. I couldn’t scream either due to the duck tape over my mouth.
The bodyguard took several pictures and then stopped.
"Let me look at them," my uncle said as he went to the bodyguard. My eyes rapidly blinked as I tried to get over the blindness Fromm the bright flash of the camera. My uncle then looked at the camera.
"These look good, good job,Tony," he said cruelly as his eyes looked away from the camera and back at me. "I’m sure your mother will love them when she sees them."
My eyes widened in shock. He was going to send these to my mum?
My uncles smile grew wider as he looked at me struggle.
"Anthony you’re about to find find out how much your father actually cares about you," he told me. "In the next weeks your life will depend on it. If your father chooses right you might get to go home and if he doesn’t well...you better home he doesn’t."
"Mmmhhmm!" I tried to shout with the duck tape still pasted on my mouth.
"What? I cant hear you, you have to speak up," my uncle said as if he was surprised that I couldn’t speak. He was so mean and evil! I thought to myself.
"Release his restraints," he then said to the bodyguard as he began to walk away.
"You’ll stay in here until you learn how to behave if you’re not careful. Marco learned that too he’s quite familiar with this room."
As I lay on the floor I watched as my uncle left the room and closed the door behind him.
The bodyguard then removed the duck tape and release the rope. The man began to walk away heading for the door.
"Wait!" I said and got up but felt dizzy and weird from being tied up so I couldn’t run properly.
Still I tried to run to the door and rush but the man was already out the door and closed it in my face.
"Please! Let me out!" I begged and ran to the door.
I then saw a tray get pushed through that thin opening at the bottom of the door. It was my dinner: some bread and some soup, and the tray was covered in plastic. The feet then walked away from the door, and I heard the footsteps get farther away.
Was Uncle really going to make me spend the night in this nasty room? I looked down at the tray again, and my stomach grumbled. I wanted to complain and bang at the door to make Uncle get me out, but I knew he wasn’t going to.
I just took the tray, went to sit on the mat, and ate the food in silence. Once I was done, I lay back on the mat and looked up at the gray concrete ceiling.
I then looked at the rope beside the mat, and out of boredom, I took it and began to play with it.
Uncle said that whether I would be set free or not depended on my father. I hated to say it, but I don’t think my dad would save me. I don’t think he cared about me that much.
After what felt like several more hours, I eventually fell alseep. Without brushing my teeth.
The following morning, when I woke up, there was already a breakfast tray waiting for me. I ate the food and then moved around the keep, busy as I moved around the room playing with the rope.
I swung it around as I paced back and forth in the room. Then I noticed something on the window of the room.
