KEITH’S POV
I left Jasmine’s house feeling dumbfounded. I was in complete and utter disbelief of what had just transpired.
After I was sat in the car I looked back at her house one last time. Part of me was expecting her to come running out of the house to tell me she hadn’t meant everything she said and was taking it all back. She didn’t come out though.
None of the things I had expected to happen had happened. I had expected it all to be a trap for her to . That I would go in there and she would try to convince me of her innocence, and try to blame Diana,
My purpose here was to let her know that it’s okay and that she can ask me for more money. I expected her to bring up her supposed innocence and try to convince me to move her back into the mansion
However, she didn’t bring up her innocence once or even talk about her situation in the house.
What surprised me the most however was her tone whilst talking to me. She seemed annoyed and furious. There were even a few times she talked back and snapped at me.
Jasmine had never ever talked to me like that before. She was always mild mannered and polite. However, she seemed to, be fuming as I spoke with her just now.
The only person she showed any ounce of the kind personality I once knew was to Anthony when she told him to leave.
What had happened to the woman who was always desperate to see me and pathetically beg for me to hear her out when she knew she was in the wrong? Today I saw no sign of her. Like a switch that had been clicked she instantly changed. Was she alright? What had suddenly changed?
Why was she now mad at me? I thought to myself as the car began to move and we made our way to the mansion.
I thought of her all her actions recently. She stopped coming to see me, she didn’t even attend the Acland event. She got a job as a waitress,
If her actions lately were all a plot to get me to see her and talk to her, today was her chance and she didn’t use it. It was clear that she wasn’t plotting for that. She seemed genuinely upset with me.
As I thought about it something occurred to me. Perhaps she had actually given up on trying to speak with me and getting my attention because things hadn’t gone her way. She was mad at me because I wouldn’t listen to her neither did I believe her. It was a possibility given her attitude today. So she was now throwing a tantrum.

If she had done it much earlier I would have never had her moved out of the house. I let out a sigh of disapproval. How could she not see her fault in this?
