KEITH’S POV

Something stirred inside me as my hand hovered near Jasmine’s cheek. It was like a knee-jerk reaction. In that moment with her emerald eyes looking up at me as if searching my eyes. She didn’t recoil or anything but it just didn’t feel right.

I was trying to comfort her. Seeing Jasmine fall apart and cry had worried me. She’s already been under so much stress... She let me hold her after seeing the images of Tony. That surprised me since she typically wouldn’t have let me get near her.

I decided to stay in my office that night, opting to work in my office until morning. Sleep wouldn’t be possible, not with the looming deadline.
