Chapter 305: My son

I was panicking as we drove around the area. I coukdn’t let then get to the neigbors. I couldn’t allow them to get help. Everything would be ruined.

I saw several of my men moving on the street. Some were walking along the road. Some were in the long grass fields looking for the boo

I hoped they were looking carefully. They were only kids. How smart and fast could they be?

The car drove by the first neighbors home further down the hill. My men confirmed they hadn’t seen anyone pass by. The neighbors apparantly hadn’t opened up for anyone either.

"Keep your guard up. I know they are nearby," I said to the men.

I continued down the hill in the car as we made our way to the next house. It took several minutes until we reached and arrived at the location. I then noticed a car cross the roading crossing ahead. My eyes squinted in confusion as I noticed the lights were off. Was that one of my mens cars? I wondered. Were they keeping their lights off so as not to get noticed by the boys?

I was about to ask who the car belonged to.

"Sir, over there!" one of my men in the told me point in the opposite direction. Following where he was pointing I found noticed there was movement. I decided to put the car I noticed aside.

I saw the two boys dash across the street and my eyes narrowed at them. "We got them!" I yelled out. I took out my phone and immediately gave out an order to my men. "I’m in the east area close to the 2nd house and have sight of the boys I want everyone in the area to surround them. "

I got out the car and followed after the boys down the road. They were headed toward the third house. I knew they would try to contact the neighbors. I spotted some of my men also running in their direction.

Thank god they were actually paying attention.

The boys immediately began running in a different direction once my men had found them.

I stopped when I saw them rounding a corner. My men were waitng for them from the otherside luckily. As I rounded the corner to see if my men gotten them, I saw the boys try to turn back around but I had already seen them. They headed toward me. I hid behind the corner as they hadn’t seen me yet. They were heading back the way they came which was where I was.

I waited for them to arrive and as soon as their figures came into view I grabbed them.

"Got you!" I said as I snatched both boys up. One arm held each boy and held onto them

"Stop moving!" I threatened as i held out the gun at the boys. I fired a warning shot at him.

"Ah!" Tony screamed out and as he wriggled against my grip. My grip remained tight as I held on to both of them. Luckily Marco didn’t put up much of a fight.

"You boys have really done it now!" I said my anger literally seething through my grip.

"Let him go!" I then heard a familiar female voice.

Shocked i turned back and found a woman standing a short distance away. My eyes swuinted as i looked at her in the dim light of the street light.

Jasmine? I asked myself in shock.

JASMINE’S POV

It was about 4 hours later when we arrived in Redwood. The drive was agonising. It felt like we couldn’t get there fast enough. When we arrived I checked the time on the car dashboard, it was 2am.

"Kolton’s home is located on a hill so we’re going to be on higher ground," Louis informed me.

We drove up and we got about midway before Louis stopped the car.

"Can’t go any further Kolton probably has surveillance around the place," Louis commented.

I realized i must have had a terrifying expression on my face because he brought hand to shoulder and gently squeezed it.

" I’m nervous," I explained.

"I know," Louis said to me trying to console me. "We now have to figure out how we’re going to get in that house." He took out a map and used his phone flashlight to light it from underneath. That way we could see the map without the light showing to outsiders.
