She was right if we couldn’t agree on this then it would be better to just stop the discussions and go our separate ways. It’s why I distanced myself from her in the first place. However, something felt different this time. Her removing her ring, her refusing to be provided by me, her giving up on me; it was starting to feel a little too real. It didn’t feel like she was just being petty as I thought. She seemed to genuinely not want to see me the way I had been ignoring her since I had her leave the house.
I felt something was wrong. What am I missing? I asked myself. The only reason I’ve done any of this to her is because of what I’d thought she had done to Diana. I’d seen the evidence myself. But...was I wrong? I hope Jasmine was just a really good and dramatic actress.
When I arrived home and entered the mansion I was met with Diana who was waiting for me by the entrance. She really didn’t have to wait for me. I thought to myself but still found it sweet.
"Honey, you’re back," she said as she hugged me.
From the hug she looked up at me. I stared down at her as well bringing my hand to her
You wouldn’t lie to me would you? I thought to myself as I tucked one of her hair strands behind her ear. Diana and I had a long history together. She’d lived such a hard life from before we met
I shrugged any doubts out of my mind. Jasmine I swear of you’re just trying to manipulate me. I thought to myself.

JASMINES POV
"Are you sure about this!?" the lawyer asked me in disbelief.
"Yes, I am," I responded uninterestedly.
I was sat in the office of the divorce attorney I had my appointment with. Her name was Cathrine Higgins and she was a really good lawyer she had helped countless women with their divorces and her service rates were quite reasonable.
She was a middle aged woman with short well styled curly hair, she wore a fine feminine suit and sleek kitten heels. A fashion icon if you ask me.
"Ms. Towers, this doesn’t make any sense which woman doesn’t ask for alimony especially considering whom your husband is!" She asked.
I had explained to her who I was and so she knew I was the estranged wife of Keith Acland.
"Well, I don’t want his money," I said to her with conviction.
"He’s that bad huh?" She asked me.
"You have no idea," I simply responded to her.

My eyes widened in surprise. It was nice hear back from him. I’m sure Tony would enjoy the Grand Prix very much since he loves cars. It would be an activity for us. However, there was just one I was concerned about.
’Won’t your girlfriend have a problem with this?’ I texted back.
From my past life, I knew that Louis would get married to at some point in the next few years. Although I didn’t keep up with him I remembered seeing his wife on social media. I wasn’t sure if they were already dating or not. I didn’t see a ring of Louis finger the last time we met so he definitely wasn’t married yet. If he currently had a girlfriend it would awkward third wheeling with them would be awkward.
’I’m single Jasmine there’s no need to worry.’ He replied.
So he hadn’t met her yet. I felt relieved...
Well then my son and I would love to join you. Thank you for inviting us. texted him back.
Excellent, see you on Saturday then.’ He replied.
We wished each each other goodnight.
