She was right if we couldn’t agree on this then it would be better to just stop the discussions and go our separate ways. It’s why I distanced myself from her in the first place. However, something felt different this time. Her removing her ring, her refusing to be provided by me, her giving up on me; it was starting to feel a little too real. It didn’t feel like she was just being petty as I thought. She seemed to genuinely not want to see me the way I had been ignoring her since I had her leave the house.
I felt something was wrong. What am I missing? I asked myself. The only reason I’ve done any of this to her is because of what I’d thought she had done to Diana. I’d seen the evidence myself. But...was I wrong? I hope Jasmine was just a really good and dramatic actress.
When I arrived home and entered the mansion I was met with Diana who was waiting for me by the entrance. She really didn’t have to wait for me. I thought to myself but still found it sweet.
"Honey, you’re back," she said as she hugged me.
From the hug she looked up at me. I stared down at her as well bringing my hand to her
You wouldn’t lie to me would you? I thought to myself as I tucked one of her hair strands behind her ear. Diana and I had a long history together. She’d lived such a hard life from before we met
I shrugged any doubts out of my mind. Jasmine I swear of you’re just trying to manipulate me. I thought to myself.

JASMINES POV
"Are you sure about this!?" the lawyer asked me in disbelief.
"Yes, I am," I responded uninterestedly.
I was sat in the office of the divorce attorney I had my appointment with. Her name was Cathrine Higgins and she was a really good lawyer she had helped countless women with their divorces and her service rates were quite reasonable.
She was a middle aged woman with short well styled curly hair, she wore a fine feminine suit and sleek kitten heels. A fashion icon if you ask me.
"Ms. Towers, this doesn’t make any sense which woman doesn’t ask for alimony especially considering whom your husband is!" She asked.
I had explained to her who I was and so she knew I was the estranged wife of Keith Acland.
"Well, I don’t want his money," I said to her with conviction.
"He’s that bad huh?" She asked me.
"You have no idea," I simply responded to her.
