DIANA’S POV
As the week progressed I patiently waited for an update on whether Jasmine had been fired or not. It was Saturday now. It should have happened some time before the end of the week. After receiving the contacts I had proceeded to call this Mr Gatwick and thankfully he agreed to dothe job it for 50,000 dollars.
Make use of the Jasmines allowances. I didn’t tell him my name or anything. We agreed that I’d give him a 25,000 deposit and once he had done the job, give him the rest. Of which I had given him the deposit now, I had one of my bodyguards deliver it to him in cash. I had to wait for the final update and send him the rest.
Jasmine was thinking she was now fine since she got a job but she had no idea that things could get worse for her. I’ll make her wish she just got the 1,000 dollars a month I gave her. And when she tried to get another job I would intervene again.
Suddenly the door to the car opened and I was brought out of my thoughts. I looked out and saw the massive mansion in front on me. I had arrived at Catherine’s estate. One of my friends. She was hosting a brunch at her home and had invited me.
I was helped out of the car by my bodyguard. I expected the door to then close but instead heard a set of footsteps coming from behind me. I turned and saw Marco come out of the car.
Oh right, he had come with me, I remembered. Catherine had told everyone to bring their kids since it was a Saturday. Marco then stepped forwatd heading for the mansion entrance.
"Wait a moment,"I ordered Marco.
He stopped and fearfully turned to look at me. I drew closer to him and reached out my hand. He flinched. "Oh, don’t be dramatic," I scoffed. He was probably thinking of when I’d hit him the some days ago for doing something to piss me off. He knows I wouldn’t hit him in public, though. "I’m giving you one last check before we go inside."
My head maid and I had given him a retouch this morning. You could never be too sure so for my peace of mind I always checked. He was fine.
"Remember to be polite and don’t go near any water." I instructed him.
"Yes,mum," he replied.
"Good."
Sometimes, I looked at Marco and resented him so much for the secret I had to conceal that took so much effort. At the same time, however, I would remember how important he was for all this to work.
We were then lead into the mansion by the estate servants. We were lead through a series of hallways before we led outside to a garden. Seated at a table were 5 women. On the table were
"Good morning," I greeted the ladies as Marco and I approached the table.
"Diana thank you for coming," Catherine, the host greeted me.
"Hello Marco you can go play with the other kids that are playing, not too far from here," Catherine said to him.
I could see children running around in the distance from us.
"Go on," I then said in my politest voice to him. He then went off to join the other women’s children.

"No don’t worry, it’s not like it was your fault," I assured her. "how’s the pregnancy going so far?" I asked as I looked at her very pregnant belly.
