He Loves Me Right Finally
Chapter 41 The Hidden Clause
Wynette suddenly remembered she had left Pea in the garage of the villa.
Graceview Estate was a little far from the hospital.
Laarhed
She hadn’t slept well the night before. As soon as the car started moving, she leaned against the window, closed her eyes, and drifted off
Joanne glanced at her, then quietly told the driver to slow down.
She picked up her phone and texted Adriel.
“I already sent you the location to meet Marcus. Why do I feel like you care a lot about Wynette’s situation lately?”
Maybe she was overthinking it. Still, Joanne couldn’t shake the feeling.
Back when Wynette and Noah were still dating, Joanne would talk about them in front of Adriel. He always looked bored and barely responded.
When she complained about Noah, Adriel would make cold comments.
And when she criticized Wynette for not standing up for herself, he stayed silent, but the sarcasm in his eyes said enough.
Joanne had never understood why her brother had such a strong dislike for Wynette.
Every time her name came up, he would look disturbed.
Anyone who didn’t know better might think Wynette had wronged him somehow.
Of course, Joanne would never say it out loud. She valued her life.
Soon, Adriel replied, “Mind your own business.”
Joanne got instantly offended.
What kind of attitude was that? Is that how you ask someone for help?
She started typing a long string of angry messages.
Ping!
A bank notification popped up.
She just received 66,000 dollars.
Joanne’s anger died down the second she saw that long string of numbers.
She accepted the transfer and sent a cheerful voice message.

Chapter 11 The Hidden Clause
“Thanks, Adriel! You’re the best. Love you so, so, so much–mwah!”
Adriel replied with two words, “Get lost.”
Joanne smirked and typed back cutely, “Yes, Your Majesty. I’ll take my leave now.”
Flushed
After that, she turned to look at Wynette. Seeing that she was still asleep, she quietly let out a breath.
Then she noticed the dark circles under Wynette’s eyes; she couldn’t help but feel sorry for her.
She knew how much courage it had taken for Wynette to walk away from that toxic relationship.
And in just a few days, she also had to cut ties completely with the Shepherds.
Wynette truly didn’t want to waste another second on Noah..
This was the first baby step.
Once she broke away from the Shepherds, things at Jewell Group would become difficult again.
That would be the real challenge.
And knowing Noah–petty and vindictive–he would likely try to make things harder for her.
Wynette needed to be ready. None of this was going to be easy.
Just thinking about how much work lay ahead made Joanne sigh for Wynette.
