Paired with the suggestive video, it was almost impossible not to believe they were dating.
However, when Lyra watched the video, she felt completely certain.
They had no feelings for each other.
It wasn't just because Miles had recently confessed to her; it was about Xenia.
From a woman's perspective, she didn't see Xenia's body language as romantic interest. It looked more like she was treating him as a friend or a buddy.
Just as that thought crossed her mind, a knock sounded at the door.
Lyra snapped out of her thoughts and looked toward the entrance. "Come in."
Courtney Miller walked in holding a stack of files, a bright smile on her face as she approached the desk.
"VP Lennox, I've brought the documents you need. I also wanted to let you know that the date for the semifinals is finalized. It'll be on the first of next month in The United States."
Lyra nodded. "Alright. Just perform at your usual level, no need to be nervous. Take some time to relax and don't put too much pressure on yourself. I believe in you."
"Got it. I'll head out then."
Courtney set the files down and turned to leave.
Just as she reached the door, Lyra called out to her.
"Wait a second."
Courtney stopped and turned back around.
"Is there something else, VP Lennox?"
Lyra thought for a moment, stood up, walked over to her, and gave her shoulder a reassuring pat.
"I know your family has been going through some things, but I believe you'll handle it perfectly. If you ever need help with anything, just ask. Don't hesitate."
