Liana looked up and, seeing Sienna, quickly hopped out of her seat and jogged over, inviting her to join the game.
"Alright, you two can deal me out..."
Liana turned around and froze.
The two staff members had already vanished without a trace.
She pouted.
Whatever. With her favorite person here, she didn't need to play cards anyway.
The two of them sat on the sofa, chatting for a bit, before Liana suddenly asked out of curiosity, "Where did Jorrod rush off to just now?"
The question completely blindsided Sienna.
To buy condoms?
She couldn't exactly corrupt the youth with that.
She let out a dry, awkward laugh, desperately trying to steer away from the topic.
Liana muttered under her breath, "He was in such a rush, like he was racing to catch a flight."
Sienna was speechless.
It wasn't exactly a flight, but it was certainly a race against the clock.
Seeing Sienna stay quiet, Liana assumed she didn't know either.
Her curiosity only intensified.
In the past, there had never been a woman by Jorrod's side. He had actively repelled them, always wearing that cold, arrogant, 'better-than-you' expression that ensured no one dared to throw themselves at him.
But things were different now. His emotions were fully online, and if his self-control was lacking, what if someone managed to seduce him?
Especially in the middle of the night.
Liana's imagination ran wild. "Oh my god, you don't think some sketchy woman invited him out, do you?! Sienna, you should have followed him!"
Sienna's mouth twitched. "He just went out to buy a few things. No one invited him out."
Before that, Liana had never dated, nor did she know how her cousin behaved in a relationship. She had seen plenty of TV shows, so she figured it was just normal hugging and kissing.
But that day, she realized reality was entirely different from her imagination.
She had seen her cousin pinning Sienna against the wall. The scene was so overwhelmingly heated that she couldn't tear her eyes away; the air between them was thick with intense, raw adult tension.
Her cousin was gripping Sienna's waist, kissing her delicate neck so deeply and ruthlessly, while Sienna tipped her head back, clutching his shirt like she couldn't even stand up. Her red lips were slightly parted, and she murmured something.
The sound was too broken and breathless for Liana to catch, but she clearly heard her cousin's hoarse command: *"Don't tremble... just hold onto me."*
She had snapped out of her trance and sprinted down the stairs at light speed.
"Ahem..." Liana cleared her throat.
Unaware that they had been caught, Sienna didn't think much of Liana's concerns. "Huh? What's the big deal? I'm not going to live here permanently anyway. Once my apartment is fixed up in a few days, I'll move back."
Liana refused to be swayed. "N-no, it's better this way. I already made arrangements. I'm moving out first thing tomorrow morning."
Seeing her so dead-set on the idea, Sienna didn't push the matter any further.
