I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 249

Sienna stared down blankly, her hand instinctively flying to her neck. She brushed her fingers against her collarbone, finding it empty.

Because she hadn't worn it for so long, she hadn't even realized The Butterfly Pendant was missing.

"How did you end up with this?"

It was only when she took it that she noticed the dented section had been completely restored. The silver was polished and pristine, looking as though it had been meticulously cared for.

If it weren't for the "SQ" initials engraved on the back, she would have suspected it was a completely different necklace.

"You got it fixed? When?"

Jorrod's dark eyes locked onto hers, his gaze heavy and intensely profound.

He wasn't used to this.

He wasn't used to lowering his head, and he certainly wasn't used to yielding.

In his world, he only ever issued orders. The words he was about to say were entirely foreign to his usual vocabulary.

In the tense, quiet air, his lips parted slightly. "I'm sorry."

His voice was incredibly low, his expression betraying no excess emotion. Even so, Sienna found herself rubbing her ears in disbelief.

She felt like she was hallucinating.

"When we separated, I had some misunderstandings about what happened between us."

"Ah?"

"My memories didn't come back all at once. They returned in broken, disjointed fragments."

Sienna was stunned.

"So," Jorrod frowned, a troubled look crossing his face as he recalled the moment. "When I recovered for the second time, the first thing I remembered was seeing you tie me to the bed, scold me, bite me, strip off my clothes, and then..."

He paused briefly. "You got on top."
