I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 298

By the time Sienna made it back to the set, Nathaniel Yale had already returned.

He was holding a boxed lunch provided by the crew, and in his other hand was a box of band-aids.

The young man was sharp. It only took him a few seconds to spot the edge of the new sneakers peeking out from under her long dress. He raised an eyebrow slightly and smoothly slipped the band-aids back into his pocket.

It seemed he was a step too late.

-

Jorrod wasn't around for the afternoon shoot.

Perhaps because she felt more relaxed without his heavy gaze tracking her, or maybe because she had gotten the hang of it during the morning session, Sienna found the afternoon scenes flowing much more naturally.

As they prepared for the final shot, Nathaniel stepped close. It was a far more intimate proximity than she had shared with Jorrod at noon. Yet, his gaze carried a similar possessive edge, making Sienna momentarily worry that he was going to go off-script.

In the end, Nathaniel framed her face with his left hand, and the kiss landed squarely on his own thumb, which he had securely wedged between their lips.

The shoot wrapped up perfectly. Sienna shot Nathaniel a look. "If you had actually kissed me just now, I would have slapped you in front of all your fans without a second thought."

Nathaniel didn't look the least bit guilty about being caught out, nor was he intimidated by the threat.

Instead, a charming smile spread across his face. "I know. That's exactly why I didn't."

Jeremy knew how much importance his boss had placed on this project.

He couldn't fathom why Jorrod, who had stayed glued to the set all morning, had suddenly bolted back to the office with only half a day left.

He was equally baffled as to why he had been left behind with the sole instruction to wait on Sienna hand and foot.

But Jeremy was a smart man. Both mysteries unraveled themselves in his mind very quickly.

His boss was clearly in love with Sienna Quinn.

When had this happened? The only thing Jeremy could point to was their trip to Quincy's place. The spark must have ignited while they were living under the same roof for those few days.

Gossip aside, as evening fell, Jeremy promptly requested the raw footage from Director Sinclair to send over to Jorrod for review.
