She shook her head in disappointment. "It's just a shame you lost out on that Vice Director spot."

Arthur finally snapped, whirling around to shout at her. "I just lost my best friend, and all you can think about is your own greed!"

"My greed?" Martha scoffed. "Oh, so I guess I'm the one who forced you to take Miles Hammond's money?"

The argument escalated, ending with both of them storming off in opposite directions.
