I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 354

And so, that chill crept up a few more inches, sweeping away the last bit of warmth.

Soon after, his breath brushed over her again, carrying a wetter, much more intense heat as it washed over her skin.

It felt like a faint jolt of electricity. Sienna gasped, her body instinctively arching backward. The man's arm tightened, his hand firmly planted on her waist, acting like the back of a chair to support her while leaving her nowhere to retreat.

His breath, which had started as a gentle sweep, grew into heavy, ragged pants.

His lips were undeniably soft.

Yet, she felt a tingling numbness spread from where he kissed her, rushing through her limbs until even her scalp felt tight and numb. It silently seeped into her brain, scrambling what little logic she had left into a total mess.

Unable to think, she surrendered to instinct. Her fingers slid into the man's hair, slowly tightening her grip as she followed his rhythm.

He used to do this all the time when he had amnesia, so it wasn't exactly unfamiliar.

The only difference was the metallic chill of his glasses frames pressing halfway against the lace.

It didn't hurt, but the contrast of hard metal and soft fabric pushed her to the edge of losing control.

Panting, Sienna struggled to call his name. "Jorrod..."

Keeping his head down, the man merely let out a low "Hmm?" between kisses.

"Your... glasses..."

Jorrod paused. He lifted his head, smoothly adjusting her clothes as he did, his brow furrowing slightly. A look of confusion flashed behind his lenses.

"Did they poke you?"

Finally getting a chance to catch her breath, Sienna subconsciously pressed a hand to her chest, trying to push down that lingering chill.

"No," she replied.

"You don't like it?"

It felt a little weird, though not exactly unpleasant. A more accurate way to put it was, "I'm just not used to it."

"Hmm?"

"When you used to do this before, you never wore glasses," Sienna explained. "I'm more used to how you were back then."

The light in Jorrod's eyes instantly dimmed. He latched onto two grating words, repeating them slowly on his lips. "Before? Used to?"

He heard a soft reply.
